jonno_2004
Piss poor to be honest. Should be taking teams like this to the cleaners except we play a Championship style and level of football at times.
Visiting Supporter Rino8 Posted March 20, 2010 Visiting Supporter Share Posted March 20, 2010 Young MOM, Carew not far behind. Cuellar was awful, as was Petrov in the first half.
kidlewis
poor poor result that has cost us seriously for 4th spot.
avfc89
Bye CL againAgreed. MON doesn't believe in his players and making his excuses already.
villadude
Another chance to move up the table thwarted by a team we would have thrashed on a good day for us. Very very disappointed.
picicata
Well thats any chance of 4th up the swanny and frankly if you can't beat Wolves on your own turf then you don't deserve it either. Absolute rubbish management of Subs and game plan by MON, I have serious doubts this is a man who will ever lead us to the promised land.
obanken
Can't believe MON didn't put Fonz on. Nothing to lose. Gutted, feels like the season is over.
drat01
Some very tired performances. People like Heskey and Downing were poor not because of tiredness though. MON has to take a fair bit of blame as it look disjointed at too many times. Albrighton was a deer in a headlights display when he came on. Cueller had a shocker at RB. No plan B again and McArthey (SP?) certainly had the better tactics on the day. A major disappointment and one that will come back to bite us later in the season I suspect. limvillian
I'd love it if I never saw Heskey wear a villa shirt again, I'd say Cuellar was as bad today but he has the excuse that he is being played out of position, Heskey has none.
Dodgyknees
It hasn't cost us anything, not yet. lets take a look at what it has cost us at 7pm tomorrow. Poor performance though. Credit to Carew and Young. Poor from Warnock and Cuellar.
Niall
MOM Carew for the goals. Milner had less influence than usual. Young was good as was Dunne. The rest were average at best.
Anthony
It's all over. We're never going to get Champions' League. MON needs to learn about substitutions. We were shit. Or Good battling display against our local rivals playing out of their skin. We didn't give up and came from behind (just like Darth Vader). Good to see Sidders making a difference in a positive way. VT Supporter HongKongVillan Posted March 20, 2010 VT Supporter Share Posted March 20, 2010 This match perfectly sums up all MON's failings. A Non RB being exposed at playing RB A SHIT Striker playing full 90 mins without being sub Tactically navie
The_Steve
We won't know how this point affects our standings until the the other games finish later. Of course some massive overreactions already, Wolves were incredibly fortunate to score twice, they parked the bus second half, it's a derby, this games are difficult to predict. We were unlucky but rather one point then zero.
jim
Young motm overall performance was poor, heskey is a waste of space and Cueller is not a right back
Mantis
Wow, by looking at most of the comments in here you'd think we lost. I'm quite glad we got what we did considering we could have had a demoralising defeat on our hands. If results go our way today and we beat Sunderland in the mid-week fixture then it's not all that bad. We're level on points with Man City, 1 point behind Liverpool with a game in hand (soon to be 2) and 2 points behind Spurs.
