And to be 1-0 up despite the two horrendous decisions by Clattenberg (how on earth was that handball given AGAINST us?!!) is a good show. Can't even appeal Gabby's yellow as you can only appeal yellows if it's mistaken identity. And people wonder why referees get so much shit in the prem, could it possibly be because they ARE shit. briggaman Posted January 14, 2010 Share Posted January 14, 2010 Well done to the lads. We have played well so far and really could (and should) have been at least 2-0 up if it wasn't for the ref. In both cases it was a penalty, although the second decision could have just been given as a goal. We are very unlucky not to be more than 1-0 up and Blackburn have the ref to thank. If he wasn't so shit they wouldn't even still be in the match. Anyway, we are deserving the lead and would be winning by more if it wasn't for the piece of shit ref....
