AVFC-Prideofbrum
Same team again. If Warnock is out, then Young LB, Cuellar RB, Collins and Dunne CB. Be a good draw, brilliant win.
Mr_Dogg
Warnock has whiplash, is likely out.
TrentVilla Posted December 12, 2009 Moderator Share Posted December 12, 2009 Shame about Warnock, real shame but we've shown we can cope without him. It will be a tough game but having taken a look at a Sunderland message board they really don't fancy their chances much. Fingers crossed.

Davies4England
It would be typical of Villa to lose this. Will be tough for the lads to maintain the performance from this evening but I'm confident we can get some sort of result. What doesn't help is that Sunderland are on a bad run and will be desperate for a result and revenge for the Carling Cup.
Designer1 Posted December 12, 2009 VT Supporter Share Posted December 12, 2009 We will keep the momentum and squeek a narrow victory. 1-0 or 2-1 to us.
rjw63
Just wish we hadn't lost to the shit that is Wet Spam, they look relegation fodder.

DeepDish
Match today. Match Tuesday. Match Saturday. I think now is the time to do some rotating. Maybe put in Reo Coker for Petrov and Carew for Gabby.
VillaChris
Fear an after lord's mayor type performance and Sunderland are decent at home although some poor results recently. 2-1 Sunderland.

Phumfeinz
Not going to get carried away, we have a habit of winning huge games then losing to smaller opposition. Sunderland is always tough for us as well.
DiegoD
Collins in for injured Warnock and keep the rest the same. Hopefully we can get into a position where we can take gabby or young off a little early, cause there are a lot of fixtures in a short space of time coming up
Rodders
good time to play them. I might change Carew for Heskey, or possibly even put NRC in midfield instead of Hesk to maintain energy in the midfield possibly.
Danwichmann
This certainly won't be an easy game and we can't afford to let up at all. I wonder if Downing is fit enough yet to cope with another game so soon? I would think asking him to play every game in December would be a big ask anyway. kurtsimonw
If Warnock is out, I'd go with the back 4 that finished the United game. I would be tempted to put Downing on the bench as we can't keep expecting him to start every game.
