i'm slowly rebuilding my horror collection on DVD and blu ray

so far I have got

nightmare on elm street box set

friday 13th box set

hellraiser 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,

exorcist box set (all 5 films)

dawn of the dead (collectiors edition)

day of the dead

survival of the deal

diary of the dead

poltergeist 1,2,3

the entity

re-annimator

and now the two I have just bought

the omen 1,2,3, and the remake

I spit on your grave (original and remake)

anyone think of any other classic horrors I am missing out on? I had pretty much everything on video and have gotta try and get them all back

You are off to a great start there, a few ideas for you (not all necessarily 'classics'):

Evil Dead (1&2 only, 3 is not so good)

Braindead (AKA Dead Alive- Directed by Peter Jackson)

American Werewolf in London

Alien

Night of the Living Dead (original)

Return of the Living Dead

The Fog (original)

The Grudge

Demons

Event Horizon

Nightbreed

About to meet Edgar Wright but can't think if anything to ask him...

Why did you make Scott Pilgrim so shit?

:D so true.

Problably biggest film let down ever, maybe cause Empire wanked all over it i was expecting something good

Few of my favourites off the top of my head, not all considered 'classics' but all great imo...

Wicker Man (Original obviously)

Don't Look Now

Suspiria

Profondo Rosso

Terror at the Opera

Tenebrae

The Abandoned

Switchblade Romance

REC (1 and 2)

Tales from the Dead

Frontiers

The House of the Devil

Ju-on: The Grudge 1+2 (original versions)

Calvaire

Inside

Rosemary's Baby

Witchfinder General

One Missed Call

Nosferatu

The Haunting (original version)

the Devil Rides Out

There's probably a load more I could recommend (love the horror genre) but that's a few belters for now.

I enjoyed it to be honest. Good bit of fun and it felt like a comic.

Not to mention the endless videogame references.

Ive had an Ice Cube marathon such a quality actor why hasnt he got an oscar yet

Three-Kings1.jpg

Quite an amusing film wasn't expecting it to be and it had a strange combination of actors in Clooney, Wahlberg and Cube what was the director thinking i was expecting Marky Mark and Cube to start Rapping at the iraqi soldiers instead of firing bullets unfortunately it didnt happen theres also a disturbing sex scene of Clooney banging a reporter it didnt get my blood pumping but i bet there were dozens of single mom's out there who were. It reminded me of an old war film Kelly's heroes but vastly inferior it didnt have Clint Eastwood in it for a start

ghosts_of_mars_01.jpg

Ok this has to be one of the wierdest movies ive ever seen i cant believe John Carpenter actually allowed his name to be used in conjunction with this especially after his legendary films such as The Thing and Big Trouble in little china. The only redeeming qualities it has is Natasha Henstridge strutting around in PVC wielding a shotgun and Ice Cube with his attitude the woman from the faculty makes a random appearance what she's doing in this i do not know and when it all fails just add the one dimensional Jason Statham to the mix does he ever play a different role? Its like one bad music video gone wrong during the action scenes theres heavy metal pumping i just dont get it

7 Stars for Three Kings and 2 Stars for ghosts of mars

Just like Ice Cube would say **** the Police.
