Sent off for calling the ref (and his mom) all kinds of nasty things, allegedly.

Bet he doesn’t regret it for a second. Must have felt cathartic as faaaaaaak! 😅

"I shit on your prostitute mother"

That's a proper cherry on top of a glittering career

Harsh though, he was actually talking to Gavi 😬😬😬😬

Sid Lowe had a good thread on twitter about it, actually, explaining how that phrase isn’t nearly as bad in Spanish as it sounds in English. Friendly bunch, the Spanish 😅

Been watching a fair bit of La Liga recently and found it quite enjoyable.  Every coach and player seem to be jumping ship to the Premier League the standard of the league has really declined don’t think it can afford to decline further it’s a bit sad really.

The financial gap between the top 3 and the rest is shocking. Sevilla have been performing wonders to compete so long

League has so much potential but the administrators are awful and is holding them back

Definitely, nice to see Real Sociedad pushing the top 2 this season, the atmosphere at grounds are pretty good to.

Went to Almeria v Atletico Madrid yesterday. 80 euros for a ticket which is bloody expensive for Almeria.

The bizarre thing about the stadium is that it wasn't built as a football ground so, instead of the fans being miles from the pitch, they have just put up "temporary" stands behind the goal, in front of the proper seats that are now covered up.

They drew 1-1, with Griezmann and Co lucky to get away with a point.

This Barca team is looking pretty damn good lately. The goals they’ve scored tonight would have made Pep’s Barca at their peak proud.

Sevilla have been pretty woeful to but yes all 3 goals were superb

Sevilla and Valencia are in relegation battle.

Not sure beating either is a big victory

It’s not. But the goals Barca scored were excellent.

hoping to get to a Betis game soon -- was in Seville last summer and got to Spain/Portugal game. But Betis has been pretty good these last few years. Won the Copa Del Rey last year and I think they are fighting for European places this year as well.
