McGinn is utterly ineffective in a deep midfield role just as Diaby is wherever it is he is meant to be playing

Doug and McGinn in the double pivot didn't work under Deano. They didn't work as part of a 3 under Gerrard. They still don't work in a double pivot under Unai.

Unfortunately, we don't have much of a choice with the injuries right now. Playing Tim would bring its own risks.

Emery will change this at half time.

He has to. Set us up wrong tactically here. Pau has to start when we need to be on the front foot.

Well we didn't deserve to win the quarter final really so this being a shitshow of uselessness is hardly surprising

This team needs a rollicking at half time lol. We've been gash and it's getting way too emotional on the pitch now.

Not sure about holding Olsen responsible when they've have been allowed two clean one-on-one opportunities.

Luiz and McGinn are being walked through with ease and that's the main issue I can see, as well as Cash continuing his trend of not holding the line properly.

Concerning Ollie isn't seeing any of the ball.

Is he injured? He wasn’t happy with his elbow earlier. Maybe he doesn’t come out for the second half

When Bailey went down, Diaby stood still asking for a foul. They've got to play to the whistle as there's now no room for error.
