Here’s an idea, let’s not get on the back of a player clearly lacking in confidence and support him. He quite obviously had some footballing ability - anyone with half a brain cell can see that.

Why are some posters on here so obsessed with having a scapegoat?! Fickle b*stards.

Yeah we are going to need him, it's pretty obvious with the amount of games we have to play.  At least I never felt that he hid tonight and kept trying to do something, even if only about 10% of it came off.  I'd love the fans to try and back him rather than shit on him.

Yeh that’s the worry.

That’s the biggest concern. Leicester fans said he had regressed significantly and he has been poor. Really disappointing as he actually looked pretty bloody good in pre season!

He wasn’t terrible tonight to be fair. In fact he made a couple of passes which split the defence open and could easily have led to goals (the through ball to cash who then fired across goal). If those go in then we end up talking about the important contribution he made.

He does have a maddening habit of playing flat horizontal balls across the middle of the pitch which are easily intercepted though . He needs to concentrate more in those situations

The Luiz/Kamara positions don't suit him. He wants to be about 10-15 yards further forward, he can play passes but he's trying to play them from deeper than he used to for Leicester, maybe that's why a lot of them are under hit.

Will take some time to work out how best to use him and for him to fully adapt.

Scapegoat? Wtf

He has been hopeless in nearly every appearance so far after giving it the big one to the Belgian media. He was also hopeless his last 18 months at Leicester and a key reason for relegation

Sloppy but committed. Didnt go missing . Poor passes at times and good passes at times. He will get better . He has been first choice from the age of 17 for his clubs. Maybe competition is something he isnt used to. He will have to get used to it. Celebrated like crazy at the end in front of the Holte..

I said last week i almost feel sorry for him.

Doesn't seem too confident at the moment.

As a fanbase we also need to realise that constantly slagging players doesn't help with this either.

He's 100 percent better than he's been able to show so far imo.

It's a long season, and just as we've seen in the past, we'll see the rise of certain players as it progresses.
