HOWEVER if we beat either arsenal or City at home it wont matter as we would be expected to lose both. Just utterly shit the 3 game falls after our big conference league game, and two of those are city and arsenal. Popular Post useless Posted December 3, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted December 3, 2023 I still think there are positives to be taken from today's result, we didn't play well but still got a point away from home which is a good sign, four points from Spurs and Bournemouth both away is actually a pretty good return, I wasn't expecting any more than four points from Spurs, Bournemouth, Man City, and Arsenal, and feared we would get less than that, as Spurs away even with injuries was always going to be tough, so from those four games we've already done as well as I thought we would do, and better than I feared, and we've still got two games from the four left to play, not expecting points in the next two, but also not without hope either. 8 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He had to make massive saves today. We missed Kamara in the middle too. Also prefer Konsa at centre half. Would be great to get something out the next 2 games but hard to know what to expect. Just watching the liverpool highlights and they're a complete mess at the back with Kehllerer flapping all over the place at crosses so not just us with a massive downgrade if the first choice is unavailable. We're not going to win the league so it's better that Liverpool get seriously involved in the title race as they're then more likely to beat likes of Liverpool and Spurs at Anfield in the run in.
