If Digne is not in the squad tonight, due to an er, broken eyelash, we may smell a rat!

Livramento is a decent signing.  15 mill too much, but that is the market at the moment.

Tyler Adams, yes please.  He is a decent player who can cover two positions.  We also need back up to Kamara, who was injured a couple of times and is likely to be the same this season, given the way he plays the game.  Fantastic player though he is.

£40M for a guy who despite showing promise hasn't played all that that much football and now been out for a year with a serious injury. I say let Newcastle have him.

Puts the reported £15mill for Fresneda fee into perspective doesn’t it …

Livramento would have been a decent signing at right back, I know he’s just come back from a serious knee injury, but if he gets back to the form before that, as just seen Newcastle have agreed a fee for him

£40m and not really played since a serious knee problem. No thanks. Thats a risk!

This has now been backed up by Collomosse, so it's clearly true.

Aston Villa defender Lucas Digne is a target for Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal less than 18 months after joining the club in a £25million deal.

The France full-back is unlikely to be part of boss Unai Emery’s first-choice starting XI in the season ahead and Saudi sources have indicated Al-Hilal - who have already signed Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly from Wolves and Chelsea respectively - are pressing ahead with a move for Digne.

PL teams in general like safe bets though don't they, will choose a player with a lower ceiling as they perceive PL experience as a higher floor
