maqroll
I think I'd like to live in a mid sized village somewhere on the south coast. Thatched roofs and gardens and shady lanes and cozy pubs.

Seat68
Parts of Lytham or St Anne’s. I think if my grandson hadn’t been born we would have pulled the trigger a couple of years ago. Instead I visit a few times a year.

ferguson1
If I could afford it, anywhere around Cornwall, Devon or Dorset. Less people around me the better.

'Property porn' as my wife calls it. There are loads of episodes on YouTube.
Amsterdam_Neil_D Posted November 26, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2022 York seems nice or somewhere where there are waterfalls and stuff like that.
Amsterdam_Neil_D Posted November 26, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2022 (edited) A lighthouse might be nice. Like Fraggle Rock, that sort of vibe. Edited November 26, 2022 by Amsterdam_Neil_D
El Zen
I’ve lived in suburbs for almost a decade now, after spending most of the previous decade in the city. I miss the urban lifestyle. And I’d want to go to every Villa home game. Somewhere nice in Birmingham, then. That being said, English villages are typically lovely. I wouldn’t mind that either. Yeah, I'm in a small town now and I miss the city sometimes. But then when I visit one, I'm a bit eager to get out again.

It’s really becoming a truly lovely city.

sidcow Posted November 26, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted November 26, 2022 I say Cornwall. It's probably great in Summer (traffic and tourists aside) but probably not so great in the winter.
