We didn't lack width until Gerrard sold/loaned out 3 of our 4 wingers 😂

You don’t need out ant out wingers to play with width though, just look at Man City, stretching the pitch in possession is basic stuff, for some reason Gerrard doesn’t get this.

Ohh, comon. We say it was a pice off piss for Gerrard up in Scotish land. Now you want to take Postecoglou cause he's doing the same?? Sometimes, fans???

Rodgers is tipped to be the next man, I have no doubt. Unsure how his pay off would work if he comes straight here. Though I think he will have to s*** on the pitch in front of the CEO, for them to sack him and pay him 10 million to leave.

Postecoglou is no Gerrard. This isn't his second ever gig. Nor did he need 3 seasons to win the SPL - he turned it around in 1.

He's managed and found success in multiple leagues across the world, including internationally with Australia at the Asian Cup in a management career that spans 20 years.

The man can coach.

Eddie Howe was able to turn Newcastle around quickly, why couldn’t someone we get in? I think our squad is better than Newcastle’s. Yes we lack width, but there is enough quality there.

Eddie took Newcastle from 19th to 11th. If Steven is sacked during the world cup we will probably be around if not in the relegation spots. It would be very unfair on the new manager to expect anything more than a mid table finish.

Conte with Spurs took over with them 6th. He got them to 4th by end of season. It would be a small miracle for a new manager to integrate a new play style, refit the squad , and fire us into the top half before seasons end.

Any new manager will just be concerned about safety and set us up that way. Shut up shop and nick goals.  Just how Gerrard did when first took over. Once we seemed safe they would try and implement their style and how they want us to play. That’s when we would probably turn to shit again 😂

The rule now should be Scotland to the Championship or even a Bournemouth or Fulham. Not Scotland to Villa, no chance!

It's like working in McDonalds straight to the Ivy in London.

Get Pochettino in before Sevilla make a move for him

This is like one of those repeat it often enough and it becomes true things right?

There is a close to zero likelihood of Pochetino coming to us if offered the job.

Not that it’s likely anyway but we have to scrub Pochettino off the list.

He will be Chelsea manager before the year is out.

Could be before the month is out the way Chelsea are going. Although, who is making the footballing decisions at the club? Tuchel is probably the most senior footballing employee there. Will he sack himself?

EDIT: He’s gone😳

Yep - it was but a dream. I imagine we have our shortlist ready regardless.
