Heart says we can finish 5th or 6th but head says 7th at an absolute push with spurs in 8th

That's exactly where I am. Which is a hell of a jump from 11th.

We need to just just forget about what other teams are doing, would drive you mad.

Lets just go out and completely smash Brentford.

That puts pressure on the other teams to keep up with us aswell. They won't all be able to do it.

Brighton got the cup this weekend so they'll be another game behind and potentially 7 off us when they next play if we can win at the weekend and then beat Fulham.

Interesting we've got Fulham at VP on the Tuesday which is the earliest of all the top 6 contenders. Quite a simple formula of us winning the next two and Spurs beating Newcastle and suddenly 4th-6th are all on 56 points. How insane would that table be?!

I think 6th is definitely doable, and would be absolutely brilliant. Europa League football next season, with the maestro at the helm? What could be better? That's one trophy we never won, and winning it puts us in the CL anyway. We're going to right all the wrongs of the MON era, ironically with Ashley Young being a part of it.

Joke. That's that then. Even BBC saying that don't understand handball anymore. What if Leeds get relegated because of this?

It's an ill wind.

Nah.

One of those 2 is Chelsea

It's hilarious to hear what their fans are saying they've heard from their club's reliable ITKs about Todd Boehly. He's the American Tony Xia...

  • Was allegedly involving himself in tactical meetings with Potter before games trying to tell him what formation and players to play, at one point telling him to play a "4-4-3" formation.
  • Apparently he was under the impression that Chelsea qualified for the Champions League automatically, regardless of where they finish in the Premier League, because... they're Chelsea?  He was corrected by someone at the club during a meeting that this wasn't the case and he stormed out of that meeting when he came to the realization of what this meant financially.
  • He recently spends a lot of time in the player dressing room and on the training ground trying to inspire the team and get them to turn their league position around.  Apparently, he went off on the team after their loss to Brighton and Lampard has confirmed this to be true.
