ender4
With Michael Beale seemingly leaving Villa to become a manager, who will Villa get in his place? Who would you like? Why? Who would be a good fit for Villa? Does the Assistant manager need to fit our players and Gerrard's style/formation, or can he have his own tactical views even if they are different to Gerrard's? villa4europe
Alonso Based on nothing more than him being a Rolls Royce of a footballer, if we don't retain the ball with him as assistant then I don't think we ever will Also think he'll be even more ambitious than Gerrard, couple of years and he'll be manager somewhere maybe even here...

lexicon
We need someone to fill the void - I wouldn't necessarily be going for a guy who made his name as a player, I want one that made his name as a coach, a la Beale.
The_Steve
McNulty isn’t that reliable - we signed Digne 24 hours after he said a deal wasn’t close. Chancer.

sne
Is Mike Phelan staying on at Manure under Ten Hag? Sure he'd love to work under Liverpool legend Gerrard A quick google on assistant managers and FM22 suggests that David Bettoni would be a good option although he might be more tempted to go with Zidane to PSG if that happens. I have pretty much no idea who could be a realistic or good option.

But would either of them fall in line with Gerrard's ideals/personality? I have no idea. To be honest I'm a bit stumped on this one.
