Bloody hell, that is like watching football porn. We need to get his home address to Gerrard

He looks good (a bit like a right footed Bertie who gets involved with his long legs and languid style) but I don't know where the porn reference comes from ... I think you are on the wrong sites!😉

We spurned so many chances it is definitely on Gerrard's to do list to improve our finishing and ruthlessness. It cost us possible 10 - 15 points at least and several positions. It makes a big difference.
Now, Watkins and Ings are very decent players. Maybe we expect them to be better next season and stick with what we've got, but somehow I doubt it.

So, with Kamara - a very accurate passing defensive mid - coming in, hopefully a new number 8 to partner Ramsey and play behind Coutinho and Buendia, who play killer through balls, we need to get the forward position spot on. When we had chances last season I was hopeful but not massively confident we would put chances away. We need to have that confidence in somebody again.

We need a killer up front to take advantage of the higher possession and chance creation we will most certainly have next season. Ings and Watkins are fine to challenge that player for a support role. Sometimes we will play one striker, sometimes two. New guy, Watkins and Ings and one of the kids (Archer , Barry) as the 4th choice is what we need.

Not a word wrong 👏🏽 How is Louie getting btw

Much ratter Sangaré than Bissouma if it's them we're choosing between.

Why out of interest? Bissouma has consistently delivered in the PL so comes with less risk/settling in but, I suppose to offset that, I can't see any allegations of rape against Sangare! As an Ivorian, he probably is away for longer at the AFCON than a Malian is likely to be?

We need Watkins to improve his decision making also. There were a few times last season he could have squared the ball for a tap in and instead he smashes it straight at a defender that stood in front of him. If he adds assists to his game, he and Ings could be a deadly partnership

From what I've seen of both I like Sangaré better. He'd likely be about the same price and ask likely lower salary. He's a year younger and as mentioned he doesn't have a potential pending court case.

But is what you have seen the YouTube video or are you regularly watching full games for psv and Ivory Coast? Clearly, playing in the Erdivise is somewhat easier than the PL??

So Darwin nunez wouldn’t be an improvement on watkins and ings

Ill wait👍🏽

why couldn’t we sign a 40m plus striker if Newcastle bought joelinton for 40 million and we just signed a player who really is worth above £40 million in phillipe coutinho so dont undermine what players would come through the doors at our club because they can

You really think Darwin Nunez would even consider Aston Villa as an option?

Why anyone wants Bissouma when he coudl be getting banged up soon is beyond me. Why take the gamble?

It's been discussed in much detail over the past 50 pages of the Bissouma thread if you want to find out why, but there is virtually zero chance of that. People have mis-understood his exact situation and also mixed it up with the person who was arrested.

Ok so now we have 2 choices, you can briefly explain why there is zero chance of that, or I can totally not read the last 50 pages looking for clues that support your point.

He was released from bail last Jan which means there is no evidence to suggest he committed a crime, a 40 year old man is currently on bail, the offence, although it is sexual assault and is wrong, appears to be at the very minor end of sexual assault i.e. arse pinching. Bissouma is not charged with anything and is free to travel and do what he wants. He was released under investigation which means there is nothing on him.

Didn’t we back out of the Bissouma race to focus on other areas?

According to a guy who doesn't really usually know much. Could be right, of course.

Dale Stephens has been released by Burnley 😃
It would be nice to get one of these long awaited (and best forgotten) transfer rumours over the line. Just to make all the effort of years ago worth it.

Is Sangare a credible link? I'd usually dismiss it out of hand but our signings this window almost make it seem believable

Wasn't sure myself, but this guy is incredibly well informed with PSV. Bit like Joyce for Liverpool, he often publishes things the club wants out. They were probably after a bidding war putting this out.

I think we know now whether he's interested or not. Probably trying to convince him we're better for him than Utd or something.

Wouldn't be surprised if the journalists that get all their stories here pick up on this more now.
