Where's this diving thing actually come from? I guess Grealish but he's been gone nearly a year and not like we get high number of penalties from any diving compared to say Palace and Zaha. And Luke Ayling did one of the worst dives I've seen last season.

Bizarre, we've just deprived Burnley in a game they'd have been targeting at least a draw from and seems Leeds would rather we'd have lost.🤣

Have to think Everton will get at least one win in next 7 days so think relegation is really between Leeds and Burnley now. I'd still just favour Burnley but it will obviously go last day.

maybe they thought Bamford was playing for us

Llorente last season was one of the worst dives around....went to ground like in a bad injury. Watkins picked him up and he wanted a fight

**** Leeds a bunch of scumbags, hopefully go to the rightful place the mid Championship

Just seen that if Leeds lose their next two, away to Arsenal tomorrow and at home to Chelsea on Wednesday, then Burnley will have a chance of finishing above them going into the last day of the season regardless of how they get on away to us and Spurs in the mean time.

Basically Leeds need at least point tomorrow or Wednesday or they're almost certain to go into the last game of the season still with a chance of going down, if they lose next two only other way of avoiding that scenario is if Everton somehow manage to not pick up another two points from their four games before the final day.

not sure that is completely true. Leeds have four games left

Still find it absolutely embarrassing that Watford did the double over us, under two different managers no less. What makes it even more weird is that while we haven't exactly had a great season, it's not as if we've been 2015/16 levels of abject or even close to it. In fact we'll still end up having one of our best PL seasons in the past decade.

Honestly them and Brentford have some really weird hoodoo over us.

Think first day was just a combination of it being generally the worst time to play a promoted team and us being massively undercooked when a very light pre season. VP game was very poor though. When you look at Gerrard's record that result sticks out given we've been generally good under him against bottom half teams home and away (I know we lost to Newcastle aswell but look at their form overall in last three months).

Stick 4 points on our total v Watford and we'd actually still have a reasonable chance of european qualification for 7th so that shows the margins even in mediocre seasons.

Can see Brighton getting something at Elland Road so think Leeds will only have 35 points going into last day.

Opening day we were in a bad spot, I think 3 pre season games called off

2nd game was embarrassing, think we had 20 shots and 2 on target. You knew after 25 minutes they would score a sucker punch it was so predictable

It is true, for if Leeds lose their next two but beat Brighton, and Burnley lose their next two, then that would mean Leeds going into the last game of the season on 37 points and Burnley would be on 34 points but with a far superior goal difference.

Basically Leeds have to get four points from their next three against Arsenal, Chelsea and Brighton, otherwise Burnley will still be able to catch them on the last day regardless of how they get on against us and Spurs.

everton will get enough points from their last 5 games to stay up

i also think leeds will get a win or 2 from their last 2 games

burnley quite possibly won't take another point this season. they are surely favourites to drop

Hmmm, the age old question that is mildly pleasing symmetry vs Leeds being relegated.

Leeds being relegated is just pleasing symmetry on a larger scale. Somehow. Not sure how. But **** them.
