Some interesting quotes from the Vitoria president. Says that Vitoria will sign young Egyptian, Senegalese and South American players with the view to them moving to Villa if they’re good enough. Says it will benefit Vitoria because they wouldn’t get these players otherwise, and it benefits Villa because we get first option on all of their players.

We are currently third in the Premier League - in Antigua & Barbuda. Currently sat above Swetes and Willikies!:

Their badge will be beautiful to fans of the green and black shirt we had:

Senegal provides the most African players to Europe, or so I think I remember reading, V Sports own the biggest training complex in Senagal, not sure which one but we bought an academy in Senegal as well as having links to one in Egypt and from what Vitoria president says sounds like we're doing something similar in South American.

The deal was officially given the go ahead by Vitoria members last Friday night.

Bonkers isn't it. You can't imagine us sanctioning this if it was the other way around (if we had fan ownership)

You say that but we would have voted in the last 3 owners largely thanks to how shit the previous owner turned out to be

Indeed.

Worth noting they were tens of millions in debt. We've bailed them out so it's no surprise they've gone for it, but it meant we kind of had them by the balls.

Surely it's a win-win for them. Financial security and options to make money on player recruitment.  There must be a huge gap in spending power between the big 3 and the rest of the Portuguese league.

As we grow some of our  squad players could do really well for them. I could imagine the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Chrisene etc spending a season over there

Wonder how:who decides the price of a player if we want to take one of their players?

Something we need to be careful about, am pretty sure its one of the charges against Juventus
