Even watched it on 0.25 playback speed on YouTube If he brings it down dead, the defender may recover. It's coming over his head from a great height, at full stretch, weaker foot and less than a second later he gives himself a glorious chance on his preferred foot. Playing with a swagger right now. It is. No player plays well when they're out of confidence, it's just that mental fortitude is a powerful asset that is easy to lose and hard to build up or recover. Leon, much like Digne, weathered the storm, didn't give up and is in good form now. The added bonus is the life lesson of overcoming this adversity, which should serve him well in the long run.
