It would create an ambiguous join in his head and he would explode.

He probably knows if he plays him in the next game he will run the game and win it for us if he starts.

He is just a male version of Matt Hancock in reality and will start Sancho next game as he is a word removed.

Sancho No, will be Rashford for Foden

Maybe,  just to give it the "I am my own man thing"

He is a tactical genius,  look at the Scotland game.  Anything is possible.

6-4-0 so there is no room for Jack at all. 3 holding midfield obviously.

He'll just invent a new reason that completely contradicts other decisions he's made

"I just don't trust players who have a name beginning with J. i've always said that"

"But what about Jordan Hederson, Gareth?"

"Yeah so as I was saying I thought Mason Mount was really excellent..."

Straight line pace - Primary.

Skill and technique on the ball - Secondary.

Harry Kane has none of these at the moment.  Even the ball hates him.

He has his own level 3,  it involves breathing and walking as a clue.

Not bad players but don't work together for some reason.

Both decent Prem players, but quite average at this level and being asked to play different roles than they do for their clubs

Philips is too deep, he plays higher up for Leeds, brilliant player. Great energy, could work well under a progressive manager

Bizarre idea that international football is a higher level than the prem.

Especially against Scotland

As for all the 'Mount out automatically means Jack to start" that I'm seeing around the place. We've argued all along that Mount and Grealish don't play in the same position and are therefore not in competition with each other for a place, so we can't turn around now and look forward to him somehow being Mount's replacement.

Its the obvious replacement though. Jack in an attacking midfield role.
