That should be interesting. How many players need to isolate before pinocchio starts Grealish?

Even then, he'd probably start Trippier before him.

*Literally no-one* in Scotland's squad had 'big tournament experience'!

Just a baffling thing to say.

If he was in charge of Villa he'd definitely be doing a Steve Bruce. Buying real men who have the character to play against Preston at home.

Shouldn’t all the England players now have to isolate?

It’ll be interesting to see how this Covid case is handled.

It would also be interesting to know if he has had one or both jabs.

They are doing regular testing, so as long as they have 2 negative tests before the next match they are ok to play.

All were tested post match and all negative

May have had neither given his age.

I like the idea that farmer Maguire is coming in to give Mings a rest before the knockouts :)

Taking that, if he is serious about maguire coming in then he should be thinking of it being for stones for 5h3 Czech game, keep him fit and unsuspended, if the future for this tournament is maguire and stones then playing mings is risk free

But no doubt he'll have some reason like they need minutes together to strengthen their partnership or something like that

I'd laugh if he brought maguire back in for mings and stones got sent off

It's almost almost as if Southgate is talking out his **** arsehole in order to justify being his own man and ignoring the entire country and objective arguments that disagree with him.

Yeah if there's one thing you would identify southgates England for its the famous high press...

Someone needs to ask Southgate if he realises that if we didn't play kick and rush nonsense in to the channels behind the full backs then we wouldn't have to focus on our wingers ability to press the ball

Hes making plans based on what we do after we've lost the ball rather than planning on keeping it

I dont think they will go out but England are not exactly safely through yet. If they take Czechs for granted they might be stung. Schick is tournament too scorer and would fancy him against a rusty oil tanker in Maguire

That's true. Maguire hasn't really been the same since he got stuck in the Suez.

Southgate "You don't defend enough off the ball Jack "

.....much later

Southgate "You are out of position all the time and cant hurt the opposition from where you are Jack, Boooooooo"

Has anyone asked Southgate why he’s not picking Jack?
If only to see him tie himself up in knots.

It would create an ambiguous join in his head and he would explode.

He probably knows if he plays him in the next game he will run the game and win it for us if he starts.

He is just a male version of Matt Hancock in reality and will start Sancho next game as he is a word removed.
