Summer Transfers Window 2020

I think Barkley could be a good option on a loan with an option to buy to add some depth.  Limited game time last season but created 3.7 shots per game which is pretty good and 0.4 xg or xa.  Definitely an upgrade on Jota and could be important if Jack gets a knock.

Ndombele maybe, but we've got zero chance of attracting Alli. He is being mooted in a potential swap deal with Royal Madrid for Bale.

I can't even imagine the price they would ask for him, brought for 58 million and played him for 16 games when you total his minutes and divide by 90....

Bale is a terrible signing, talk about finished players.

Can't agree., still in top shape and is essentially going "home".

From a wages perspective possibly, but from a calibre of player perspective, certainly not.

the dude your opinion GIF

Seriously though his stats were very poor last season even ignoring his £15m a year in wages he will cost them....

To be fair, he hasn;t been really assed for Madrid for a couple of years, and you can kind of understand why.

0.33 non penalty goals or assists last season, 2.7 shot creating actions, 1.4 dribbles.  Pretty average and much worse than Traore who caused such division on this forum.  Maybe you  are right and he will find some of his old form but he is the wrong side of 30.

How much spurs buying him for?

Didnt they sell him for like 90 mill, even if its half that and can get a percentage of the work rate back out of him as they did before they may be onto a winner.

Somehow I feel like Bale going home to them would be a good thing for him and the club hes leaving and going to, a win win for all involved I think.

Dont think he is in great shape at the moment and his pace is going. Would be like us bringing back Benteke now

Actually Benteke despite not scoring goals as much as he did for us has been reasonable ok where he is now. Again the old line of : just because someone is playing bad somewhere doesnt mean that will translate else where or visa verca does it.

For all we know picking up Teke cheap and having him as a bench player would improve us still, would take any day over Samatta and Ghazi.

Available for £10m and sitting on a £120k/w contract at Palace. Cheap he will not be.

He may still be able to revive his career for a couple of twilight seasons but Bale as a force is finished.

Ive watched him more closely than most on here since the beginning of his career as I watch every Wales match, he’s a shadow of his former self, pace and drive all but gone.
