We had 3 fit strikers before Davis' setback. Having another striker on the books on top of that again would be ridiculous. Samatta has has a decent scoring record albeit in a lower standard league but that doesn't mean he's not good enough. He's scored in the champions league and actually offers us a threat with headers and good movement. 1 goal in 1 in the league so far. We'd all love a big name striker but when the likes of Spurs and Utd are in desperate need of 1 then it's going to be tougher again. Utd only scraped Ighalo who's been coasting in China for the last few years and Spurs got sod all so maybe have a bit more perspective before just slagging off our new players before they've had a chance to show us what they can offer. A donkey doesn't score 18 league goals in 36 games. Mmm think it's you doing the dribble been as you stated that our recruitment is a joke and one of them is a donkey signing before hes even played. Maybe it turns out that it's some very sweet business on our part we don't know until he's been given the chance . No one was selling there strikers we had to do something, we are already down to two as it is now if we hadn't of brought Samatta and Borja in we'd be back to no forwards now. As it stands not one of them is a donkey signing Villian because we need both of them now big time or we will be back to Ghazi up front and we know how that has worked out so far. If no one was selling then yes I'd take what we can get and be happy we have two strikers even if unproven for the time being, not much else could of been done. Kodjia is gone now though, he's was Kaput, not working one bit before this season started. Last season Kodjia had strolled through alot of games and it was only a matter of time before fans went against him. I would any day rather have an unproven striker running around trying at least and having ago, than have a player like kodjia doing nothing at all in games wasting the opportunity given to him. Kodjia had his premier chance and blew it and couldn't even go out with a bang with the fans, he was more than underwhelming this season and was by far the most disappointing player we had.
