I've been meaning to say that Germany's publicly owned transport is very good and represents good value for money.

I know when UK transport was publicly owned it was quite bad (from stories I've heard), but since it's been privatised has it been improved?  The costs of tickets are the major argument for state owned transport.  I think even if the prices were returned to acceptable amounts and the trains were unreliable, people would take it over the current theme of overpriced and unreliable.   Aren't we also getting double shagged because we pay for the rail infrastructure that the private (shit-ly run) trains operate on, but they barely pay anything towards it?

I'm not sure about internet.  I want to watch nude women as much as I like.. I mean.. they've already tried to stop porno.. stop it government.  I don't see the need for it, besides the unemployed/extreme poor.. Maybe they could be paid for via vouchers once their cases have been reviewed or something similar? Because internet is important these days, particularly for jobs.

There's a balance for nationalising things and I think we've gone a bit too far the wrong way.. Although utilities are not too bad because I can go get a better deal if I'm not happy with my incumbent and prices are cheaper because of competition.  But again, the national grid infrastructure is 30 years out of date, but the companies don't pay much to support it.

Thought Corbyn smashed it in the main.  His closing speech was great.  He does owe  a pint to that audience member for the assist on the brexit stance question though.  Piped up and answered it better than Jezza ever has and didn’t even end up asking a question of his own.

I can see Johnson struggling severely tonight

The guy is a pathological liar. He'll spend his 30 minutes waffling on about oven ready Brexit, act like it wasn't his government that have decimated our public services for the last 9 years and given the most vulnerable amongst us a right good kicking, throw in a 20k Police officers, 40 hospitals line and the gullible will lap it up.

You're right my mind is already made up as far as Johnson is concerned and I won't waste 30 minutes of my time just for him to confirm what I already know.

So we’ve established that Johnson will be incompetent and shit , shall we agree the  BBC were biased and corbyn wiped the floor with everyone else (with  even though I’m not a Corbyn fan caveat  ) and then  I won’t have to watch and can switch over and watch the Fulham v QPR match

Unlike someone not a million miles away , I don’t tell people they are wrong for having a different opinion :P
