Can we have that rethink of the Labour leadership now?

i'll start setting traps for the tramp king and his followers.

Brexit party are taking a lot more of Labour votes than Tories.

It's almost like "eh......I haven't decided" isn't a good look.

Corbyn looks ineffective and weak compared to a bloke who hides in a **** fridge. He'll go down as the worst Labour party leader in history (so far).

The combined efforts of the media, corporate power and the financial state have put any idea of Socialism back into its box for a generation tonight.

The best alternative we can hope for is the emergence of a Bliar-esque soft tory ideology - a bit of butter rather than the Conservative's straight-in-dry.

Tonight has killed any genuine political alternative to strict adherence to Neo-Liberal market forces stone dead and most likely stone dead for my lifetime.

A bit frustrating it didn’t happen a few years ago. Going to be an interesting few years.

Interesting? It's going to be hard and a slog month to month to get by for me and I work full time. Yay.

The question is whether people realise after Foot, Kinnock, Brown, Miliband and Corbyn...that Labour can’t win elections by trying to appeal to Labour voters.

Indeed - if Labour want to win elections, they need to give up on the idea of being Labour - or at least buy a couple of newspapers.

Yep. The country is broadly centre to centre right. To win elections, target them.

It was never alive though, it was a fantasy that it was a popular political position.

Labour need to get back to New Labour but without the wars.

Labour need to focus on winning elections. Just lie to the racists and the rich then once in do whatever the **** you want to **** them over. Thats the state of politics. It's a popularity contest/appeal to the base. Lie to get in power then sort the rest out after. Use it to your advantage.
