Smith abandoned his usual style of play and tried to go direct and play it a bit safe and we were shit. We'd be pushing for automatics had all that not happened though.

In the sense that our change in fortunes happened as soon as Grealish came back to the team, yes, it was just about Jack. 

He had Hause and Mings in the squad from January and he still doesn’t have Chester and Lansbury so it’s hard not to conclude Jack has made the decisive difference.

I think it’s mings Hause AND Grealish, not one individually. jack does allow our midfield to play and we can hold the ball whereas we surprisingly couldn’t without him
