What's your tipple this evening then?

Dexter, a salted caramel milk stout by the Kirkstall Brewery. ABV 4.5%

The salted caramel does not dominate and it has a slight effervescence with a quite dry aftertaste. I like this a lot

The ABV on some of the beers in this thread terrifies me.

I think I'd go blind if I drank anything over 5.5% these days.

These days 4.5% is really my limit if I’m having four or five pints.

I suppose a couple of rum chasers that I’m prone to have tests that statement.

Same here. Strictly session ales. I could drink maybe two of something stronger, but 4.2% is my sweet spot between pointless and obliterated.

Apologies, feeling lazy, its not my photo

Turning point Brew Co from Knaresborough

Hickory Clan Caviar - A Maple and Pecan Danish inspired Stout

Abv 6.0%

Suitable for vegetables as well

I find myself saying this quite a bit here, nowhere near as bad as it sounds. Its actually very nice. I would definitely drink again. It is sweet and nutty tasting but not overpoweringly so

Having this beauty tonight.

Definitely need it after a 28k walk across Dartmoor in an Amber weather warning, raising £1400 for a good cause (vascular  ehlers-danios)

(Yeah, a bit of a humble brag but justified today 😂

What sounds bad about it?! Sounds amazing apart from the low ABV. Crank that up to 12% and we’ll talk.

I believe it was dispatched yesterday, so should be here soon.
