I think if anything Henderson is the outstanding idiocy - he didn't go to Saudi just because of the money, he went because he knew he was too old to be effective for Liverpool and the money was an amazing offer for a player that would otherwise be second string at Liverpool and maybe looking for a Championship club, perhaps back to Sunderland. If there was no Saudi and Henderson was back at the Stadium of light, I wonder if Gareth would still pick him - I'm guessing yes.
