As you say, far more than Gabby would have done. Yes, agreed. My point is that while Davis undoubtedly contributed, it was a good performance all round. We did enough all over the park to win that game. Replacing Gabby with Davis didn't single handedly win us that game, although it definitely helped. So, in an attempt to keep this on topic...This is where I can definitely agree with the notion that Bruce got lucky Yesterday. He gets credit for setting us up with a more attacking mindset, but his hand was almost certainly forced into playing one of the 'backup' strikers, and it saved his bacon. Oink.
