No more last pay day for aging premier league players. Lets use our academy, lets spend smart money on players like hourihane and lets put something in place that we as fans can get behind. Agreed. I think with the inevitable dismantling of this squad in the summer and the right messages from the owner should make the fans a little more patient. After wasting the advantage we had with bruce there's no choice but to be patient. I hope you are ready for this Well hindsight is nice. But! When we got relegated the board could have laid out a long term plan to get back up instead of going for broke. Because as of now we are breaking and it wont take much to see the whole house fall down. Had the board gone at it differently we may have been in a position where next season is the season where the patience is rewarded, and if it went really well we may have been looking at a „shot at promotion“ with a good run in this season. Having said that (hindsight) I fully understood the gamble.
