All the talk about potential relegation is a bit premature. As funny as it is to wind the Arsenal fans up about it. Suspect they'll be mid table, maybe bottom half.

The worry for Arsenal and their fans is that what looked like a slump at the club is beginning to look like decline. They have recruited so badly and the longer they spend ooutside the CL the more difficult it becomes to recruit the players you need to get back there. Suspect that's the reason they gave Auba that crazy contract, because they weren't confident they could attract a replacement if he left.

Zero chance of them going down, still it’s fun.

Yeah, no chance of it this season, IMO. Albion and Sheffield United are two of the poorest teams we've had in the league in years, and Burnley, Brighton and Fulham are poor. It's a particularly poor year at the bottom. If they'd played like this last season, I think it'd have been a much closer thing than they'd be comfortable with.

A decent run of form will have them straight back in to the top half, it's still very early days.

It's Christmas and they're absolutely in a relegation battle. They'll almost certainly sort themselves out and get out of it, but the fact is they genuinely are in the conversation at the moment.

What if they don't sort themselves out though, which is entirely possible? Burnley will shithouse their way out of trouble like they always do, Brighton look like they could start to click any time now and Fulham aren't actually as bad as they looked when the season started. All three of them could pick up some form soon.

Meanwhile, Arsenal look like they're spiralling. They're shot of confidence, they look like they have no clue what they're doing, they don't even look like they like each other very much either. It's a shambles.

Premature? Maybe. But it is a real possibility.

Arsenal aren't going down, though it would be utterly hilarious if they did. They'll sack Arteta before they're in any real danger of going down.

Yeah i think people really just want them to get a Big Sam type long ball manager to grind out results to destroy Wenger legacy 😂
