Saw a lot of Andre Gomes as Valencia were a good team to bet on last season with all their instability....

Can't really see what all the fuss is about. I don't think he's even that great passer of a ball, wasted a lot of possession last year. Think he'll be another Turan in that he won't make a huge impact.

Halilovic is a great pick up for Hamburg, thought he might've moved up to europa league team in Spain, good talent and still very young.

Dortmund actually have a very good strikeforce as it stands with Aubameyang still there and Schurrle, Gotze and Reus right behind him. You never know with Ancelotti and leagues....

I thought he looked pretty tidy in the Euros. But his pass % in La Liga was the same as Carlos Sanchez for us.

I imagine that Dembele will play a lot of matches as well.

Currently tearing it up in pre-season.  Looks a phenomenal talent.

Just read  this...God the market is crazy...

Allen and Smiths moves take the total number of players Liverpool have sold this summer to seven, following on from Jordon Ibe, Joao Carlos Teixeira, Sergi Canos, Martin Skrtel, Jerome Sinclair and that accumulative total is £50m

Indeed, saw him play end of last season for Rennes at Marseille and he had an amazing game.

Probably start as impact sub but one to watch certainly and will probably be in French squad by end of season.

The way he's playing, I'd be surprised if he doesn't start from the off tbqh.

Arsenal have had a £29m bid rejected for Lacazette. Could they finally be trying to sign a decent striker?

doubt lyon will want to sell him to psg but they'll still happily use them to inflate his value, can see arsenal needing another £10-15m to get him

they have spent more than that on incomings and hardly better quality

Can see it as one of those "we tried to spend big but we couldn't find value" moments from Wenger. Does he really have that much financial control and self imposed responsibility or do the board not want to give him the money.

The two players they have spent big on in Ozil and Sanchez are their best players, Wenger needs to spend £150 million this window on a striker a centre back and another def mid to win the league and retire on a high. Otherwise He will buy another attacking midfielder and be hounded out by the supporters wrightly or wrongly eventually.

Rumours are there is money to spend, but he is too stubborn... One of the board is Russian and wants to spend loads

Money money money

Usmanov, on the other hand, has been more critical of the club's failure to win the Premier League since 2004 and decisions to sell players like Robin van Persie. He has also expressed a willingness to pump his own money into the club, but Arsenal insist of maintaining a policy of self-sustainability. Listed by Forbes as the richest man in Russia, Usmanov's estimated wealth of nearly $15 billion far exceeds that of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, whose millions helped transform the London club into a consistent title winner.

they bought xhaka so DMC they are ok, they need a CB and a striker and probably strengthening at RB and LB if they can find the right player (if amavi has a top year then arsenal, city, chelsea could all be after him, all weak at LB)

agree about wenger and "we tried to spend big but we couldn't find value" he never seems to see the value to his own team and to what they are trying to achieve, lacazette might actually only be worth £30m but if he scores 25 goals next year and they win the league then whats that worth?

unsurprisingly seeing a lot of glory hunting fans here on social media and other forums slating the higuain figures, juve may have overpaid what he's actually worth as an individual but seeing as they've bought a bloke who will win top scorer next season and weaken napoli to the extent that they'll walk the league meaning they'll be able to focus on the CL...thats what wenger cant see
