Gunter would be the same as Robson Kanu, might do a job for us this season, might help get us promoted...then what? He'll be on a 4 year contract and not good enough for us in the prem, we won't be able to shift him

Then he'll make for decent back up when we are in the prem. He has a £1m release clause, it's **** all.

How do you know that he has a £1m release clause? I'm not doubting you

I think he is an excellent player, always have done, I agree it's a no brainer

He's really not an excellent player - unless you're talking about League One level, in which case yes.  He's basically an average Championship right back.

I agree he'd "do a job" for £1m, if that clause is true.

In my opinion, £1m is a bargain for an international full back who has premier league experience, I've always rated him albeit from a distance

I'm dreading clicking on the os and seeing comments from Bakuna or Lesscott saying "We can do it" or "raring to go " .

This would make me contemplate Base jumping of London Bridge while holding 2 suitcases filled with iron.

Ive watched him up close for years playing for Wales, as others have said, great engine but little ability.

With the players we've bought, been linked to, the stories of players wanting to make amends for last season and the promotion of youth players to first team training, I'm starting to think that we won't be doing that much business, maybe three or four signings.

Why do you think he has little ability? I think he's great positionally, can tackle well, is decent in the air, I think he'd be a great signing
