romavillan Posted August 25, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted August 25, 2015 He's got bags of talent and can do some pretty miraculous stuff with the ball and create stuff from nothing, BUT he does sometimes run down a blind alley with his head down, or do frustrating stuff like an amazing run and poor finish/final ball quite often. In fairness though, he's better than what we have (Grealish, Traoré and Gil all have potential but in terms of right now they aren't there yet). The story isn't being run everywhere here, the Corriere dello Sport has it but the Gazzetta doesn't. If it was that sure I would think the Gazzetta would have an article too by now. Roma would probably like to keep him so they have more strength in depth, it's far more likely his agent that is touting him about if there is no truth to Sabatini meeting club representatives in London which is what the stories linking him with us were claiming. Probably one of the best goals I've ever seen. He's hardly a top player. One goal against Bournemouth is your reasoning for gil being better. Laughable.
