HanoiVillan
James Nursey @JamesNursey 2h2 hours ago @jwavfc Lerner has admitted there is "Chinese" interest and I understand they have bid. Let's see. Group v keen to get a Prem club He needs to come up with an awful lot more than this to get over the 'Clark & Westwood to be sold' reputation damage he's self-inflicting. useless
He's not said that Clark is going to be sold.
HanoiVillan
He's hinting about there being serious interest. I honestly think he hasn't got a clue what's happening at the club, and probably hasn't had since Lambert left.
useless
He probably does just guess at a lot of stuff, especially Westwood being sold. I hope he's right about this Chinese interest though.
GENTLEMAN
I think JN is right about the Chinese interest and bid.
HeyAnty
I think JN is right about the Chinese interest and bid. Why you think that? Personally id take Nurserys comments over most Journalists out there to be fair.
P3te
If nursey said Lerner admitted, which he did, then it's likely true
PieFacE Posted June 8, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted June 8, 2015 Did'nt Lerner say there's been interest from Chinese, Italians and American parties interested?

dounavilla
Is anyone else of the opinion that the reason we have not had our new kit revealed To us yet is that we are waiting for our new chinese overlords to take control then we shall reveal our new home kit based on "Jack Burtons" vest ?
El-Reacho
AC Milan are also supposedly about to be taken over by Chinese businessmen - $1bn. Them and SHA are the only chinese owned football clubs i can think of. Can't help but think it could turn into a Venkys situation for some reason... BOF Posted June 8, 2015 Moderator Share Posted June 8, 2015 I don't really regard SHA as being truly-Chinese owned. Yes Hong Kong is technically Chinese but only in name. Its trade model, its identity and its reluctant relationship and takeover by its motherland makes me regard it as its own entity. Plus we've yet to see what an actual Chinese business (as in a traditional Chinese mainland business) owner would do with a club. AC might be the answer. dudevillaisnice
Oh I see fair enough, can't see it mind as Milan and Bee have made this deal pretty much official but you never know I guess. If anything highlights how difficult takeovers can be.
