flashingqwerty Posted February 28, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2015 Yes, weve had it. Not just planning for championshit next season, but league 1 after that. Soooooo depressed!!!
Cliffy Biro
Getting there tbh, 3 hugely winnable games and not a single point scoring 1 goal. Lost the next 1 or 2 and its game over.
BigCarew
I said if we lost to Stoke last week that was it. Im sticking with it. I've given up, and I guess many more have after today.

avfc1982
Nope. Still 11 games to play. We're not cut adrift at the foot of the table and are only in it on goal difference. Lots of twists and turns to come and we can still stay up. It ain't over till it's over, folks.
DCJonah
I've convinced myself we're now down. I just can't see us winning games because we have no one who is going to score the goals we need.

Popular Post markavfc40
I haven't given up by a long way. It is not in my make up and I don't believe it is in the make up of this club. When the chips are down, when things have been dire then it makes me even more determined to roll up my sleeves and fight. That has got to be the mentality of everyone associated with this club. Now is certainly not the time to throw in the towel. We have been dire but so have plenty of other sides and we are still with in 1 point of safety and less than a handful of points of two other teams. F**k this giving up crap. This club has meant way too much to all of us, and thousands and fans that went before us, for us to even contemplate that. Every supporter that can should get themselves down to Villa Park on Tuesday. Giving up is not what this club is about and it is now time to play our part in helping Aston Villa retain its top flight status. smetrov
Nope I m fearing the worst - but I haven't given up hope yet If you really want to worry - worry about the actions of Lerner and his board post relegation - that absolutely terrifies me... krisagg75
i had given up but today went to my aunts grave in witton cemetary.went passed archie kennedy's grave(famous villa skipper from the 1890's).read what was written on it.no freakin way am i giving up on us.we will stay up,get sold and rise again.looking at my old programmes from the 70's and reading the notes lord ron of aston used to write has made me remember how great a club we are.we'll beat the baggies just like we did in 81 when batson passed to withy.it is henry the 5th time. Brumstopdogs
I haven't given up yet. If we can stay in touch with the teams around us going into May we have 3 home games in our final 4 games. Each defeat makes it harder to believe but I won't give up until it is mathematically impossible.
Marka Ragnos Posted February 28, 2015 Author VT Supporter Share Posted February 28, 2015 This thread makes for great reading, in my humble. coda
I'm less bothered than previous seasons but I haven't given up yet. I know too many people who would delight in Villa getting relegated.

StanBalaban
If Small Heath could beat the drop season when seemingly doomed, then no way should we give up!
Popular Post villanmac
We are level on points with the team that will either beat us to the drop or stay up instead of us (as i'm discounting sunderland & hull). I don't see how anyone can give up yet?! Edited February 28, 2015 by villanmac
