People really shouldn't listen to much to the press.

In the build up to signing Cissokho they were saying it wasn't close right up until we signed him and reporting it was a loan despite the 4 year deal.

That isn't to say we are about to sign him, just let's not assume we won't because of what The Sun says.

Just looks like a money spinner for that Sun+ crap

That's far too rational, dag nam it! I want to hear how it's not happening, and we should all start cracking each others skulls open, and feasting on the goo inside!! Maybe some of us enjoy the misery!!!

Apparently the full Sun article says its because of wages. Definitely doesn't make sense.

Not wishing to defend the Sun - but in view of current restrictions at VP, the move breaking down because of wage demands would make perfect sense to me.......it seems almost a re run of the KI scenario......

The future of Carlos Sanchez getting closer to the Premier League. Diego Merino, representing the Colombian international, was yesterday in Birmingham trying to close the pass of La Roca at Aston Villa. The transaction will be closed for a figure of around four million euros, of which only two will go into the coffers of the franjiverde entity. The rest will be for Array Europe BV, Amsterdam-based company that owns and economic rights that is setting the price of the player in the market.

A year ago, Carlos Sanchez signed with Elche clause only two million euros to break its federal contract, a figure well below its value at the gates of the World. That was one of the conditions imposed their representatives to ensure a new sale after playing with the selection of Colombia, where he is a permanent fixture, the event in Brazil. The gain over two million euros will be for Array Europe BV. The player did not train yesterday afternoon in Annex together with his colleagues, in a new sign pointing to its future is far from Martinez Valero.

The Elche last paid by the Colombian international record 600,000 euros, 624,750 euros more through its society and commissions 150,000 euros season. Net profit will leave this operation in the franjiverde club will be about 600,000 euros. With their savings and income record of the transfer, the economic margin Elche get to meet you in the market for a replacement as defensive midfielder - one option is Cañas, former Betis and currently in Swansea - and to go for another striker to complete the attack. The output of any of the discards (Toño, Diego Rivas, Sapunaru Jose Angel or Anaba) allow more maneuverability to complete another district at the request of the coaching staff, any occurrence of an interesting bargain before 1 September.

Events Petxina claim your 50%

The transfer of Carlos Sanchez will be the first to perform from Elche in 2011 sold 50% of their transfers to Events Petxina. The agreement, in exchange for 800,000 euros, has a duration of eight years. Operation with Carlos Sanchez, with the payment of the termination clause, does not clarify whether the Elche have to pay one million euros to the company. The club welcomes that has not negotiated any sales or transfers because the player will deposit its clause in the League. There is case law which favors Elche if Seydou Keyta. Sevilla paid the Lens 4 million in 2007 by mali, plus 10% of a future transfer. A year later he sold the club for 14 Victor Orta was the technical secretary of Seville whole. The French team reported to the Superior Court of Arbitration, which proved him right in the first instance. However, the Andalusian argued that the sale went against his will and to his TAS corrected favor. Elche is covered by the same defense he used Juan Crespo God specializes in this type of operations.

I still think this one is ongoing.

We're a Premier League club, so surely we have the means to figure out a little third party ownership?

The most recent article posted seems to indicate the deal is still on, and that it will be as simple as roughly 2m Euros going to Elche and the other 2m going to the third party.

Can't blame club if there is an issue due to excessive demands and/or the 3rd party ownership.

That said it would be frustrating as this has been one of the more exciting players to be linked in the last few seasons
