samjp26 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 New channel launching soon, exclusively covering European football from the likes of La Liga and Eredivisie. Apparently up to 600 European games per season. Sounds good to me! 2
Zatman Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 They need to get James Richardson. a poor mans Scott Minto 1
Zatman Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Cool, another channel I don't want. wait until Sky GAA starts
CarewsEyebrowDesigner Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 I saw a segment on Sky Sports News about GAA. It was painful to watch.
islingtonclaret Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Gonna be a grump, but....more package options for bskyb to rape you of cash. I'm out. 1
villarule123 Posted June 10, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 10, 2014 I have Sky but I think BT have the better options for European Football. Especially with the CL rights coming soon. I will probably switch when that happens.
villa4europe Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) I have Sky but I think BT have the better options for European Football. Especially with the CL rights coming soon. I will probably switch when that happens. I think BT will pull the plug on it being free when that happens Edited June 10, 2014 by villa4europe
andykeenan Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Great more football but doubt see much being at Villa games most weekends
rjw63 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Skyscum can **** right off. Never had it and never will. Ruiners of the game. I **** hate them. 4
islingtonclaret Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Skyscum can **** right off. Never had it and never will. Ruiners of the game. I **** hate them. If I remember rightly on roughly 137 threads from matchdays, I'm led to believe you're always good for a Sat 3pm kick off move Rob
rjw63 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I'd like to put them in a rocket and fire the bastards into space, never to return 2
Qwpzxjor1 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Very happy if it has Eredivisie games. My girlfriend supports FC Zwolle and hunting around for an internet channel gets tiring.
bannedfromHandV Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Extra footy channel plus free broadband for two years, how people can complain is beyond me. My dad whinges about there being too much football on TV, think it's a generational thing cos I love watching it, the more the better.
Stevo985 Posted June 13, 2014 VT Supporter Posted June 13, 2014 It confuses me. Do you have to pay more for the new channel, but you also get broadband free? Or will I automatically get the channel AND free broadband (as an existing customer) I think you're also bound by a new contract for the length of the free broadband.
KHV Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Got rid of all my sy premium channels ages ago. Got 120MB broadband so no need for them
TrentVilla Posted June 13, 2014 Moderator Posted June 13, 2014 It confuses me. Do you have to pay more for the new channel, but you also get broadband free? Or will I automatically get the channel AND free broadband (as an existing customer) I think you're also bound by a new contract for the length of the free broadband. Its a free channel and free broadband but you have to accept it rather than just getting it which suggests to me there is a catch and I'd guess that catch is a new contract. It is very likely to be a crafty way of moving existing sports customers onto a 2 year deal without them really thinking about it, just before Sky go and lose the Chumps League coverage to BT after next season. Sky are running scared of BT at the moment and its starting to show. If something seems to good to be true it usually is....
