Yeah? I've spent the evening in Bathams pubs in The Black County.

It's been pissing down most of it but................ Bathams.

Sounds like a good Friday evening! What pub(s)?

Nah, seen your other post since

If only The Three Stags' Heads had Bathams. You definitely got me nostalgic for The Lamp and The Bull and Bladder. Talking of nostalgia, is Ma Pardoe's still going?

Was this an organised trip to Bathams or just something you did yourself.

No idea about Ma Pardoe's but The Lamp and The Bull were doing a roaring trade

Its been awful around me today. This morning it was like we were under water

I know what you mean, Dem. Drove out on the A4 this morning and had to drive through several lakes. Some a foot or two deep. There were cars turning around rather than go through some of them.

Its awful the traffic was horrendous this morning due to road closures

What makes me laugh is that there is STILL a hose pipe ban!

I’m holed up in a pub, currently drinking my first* alcoholic beverage in over 50 days, watching the rainfall in streetlights, trying to gauge if it’s going to let up and I can leave.

“Will this cursed rain never end?” I’m saying to myself as I look at what else is behind the bar.

*ok, it’s my third so far, but the 50 day thing is true, I swear.
