Seen it for £365 a month £2250 down 10k a year over 4 years.

Any advice from EV owners? I've had the Jaguar iPace for a year now, and I love it. Get home, plug it in, never step inside a petrol station again.
stuart_75
I've been driving a BMW i3s EV for the last 2 years (through Arval). Happy to answer any question on ownership, pros/cons of that model. I have 1 year left and looking at Kona/Niro for my next model. Main reasons, extra range, 5 real doors and roof rails for putting bikes on. They've done lots of episode's about electric car ownership including a show on leasing if I remember rightly. Also cover home charging points. I think they did a mini series of electric car ownership for beginners too.
Xela
I know 80s fast Fords carry a premium now but this is crazy Quote Princess Diana's Ford Escort sells for £650K at auction A car which was used by the late Diana, Princess of Wales has sold for £650,000 at auction. Princess Diana, who died nearly 25 years ago, drove the black Ford Escort RS Turbo for nearly three years from August 1985. She was pictured with the car outside the boutique shops of Chelsea and in Kensington. The car, registration C462FHK, was eventually sold by Silverstone Auctions in Warwickshire to a buyer in Cheshire. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-62701247 Edited August 28, 2022 by Xela

Guest av1
I think I mentioned earlier in the thread that I’d ordered a new Dacia for no other reason than it ran on LPG. I’ve picked up the car and it’s sound no complaints at all. My biggest joy however has just come from my first visit to the petrol station. I’ve completely filled up for £26.15 and the car is saying that gives me a range of 355 miles. Given how cheap this car was to buy (I think it’s by far the cheapest new car you can buy in the UK) and given how many miles I do, I don’t think I’m exaggerating to say that the fuel savings alone are going to pay for at least half of what I paid for it. sidcow Posted October 1, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted October 1, 2022 What sort of discounts do you reckon non franchise second hand car dealers can offer. Looking at a £5k car for my daughter. Anyone think £4,500 should be achievable?
mottaloo
Probably a daft question but if you fully charge an electric car but leave it on the drive for 3 or 4 days does it lose its charge; much or not ?

Not that I've noticed but haven't really left it undriven for very long. If it's at home, and ypu leave it plugged it in, it just goes on to a trickle charge.

No it doesn't. Maybe 1 or 2% max, depending on car.

jackbauer24
Well I ordered my KIA EV6 in March. They told me it'd be in UK from 16th Jan 2023. It is being dropped off at my house on Wednesday! Must have smuggled those semiconductors in through the black market...
