Ive got a friend who works for Blues and he speaks so highly of Gary Rowett. The team does shooting practice at the end of training with losers donating to charity, he watches youth games and brings them into the first team training sessions. Gives them loads of days off for performing. Hes created a massive reward culture and togetherness not tolerating poor performance or bad effort. Now its a much more high pressure environment here but you just do not hear stories about Lambert acting in that way and it shows on the pitch. Now in the "OUT" camp, get fresh blood in, Lamberts signings have been good on the whole when hes had money to spend, but its the scouting department that finds these players, not worth keeping for the potential damage to our Premier League status.

I find it criminal that a team with Guzan, Okore, Vlaar, Sanchez, Delph and Benteke in are struggling to string a pass together and create a chance. I love football and watch a lot but I was struggling to think of games that I remember being as stand out where both teams were superb. After some thought 3 stand out. Ronaldos hat trick against Man United in 2003 when he got a standing ovation at Old Trafford - First time I remember watching a World Class performance, big game, big spectacle, all the extra stuff with Beckham. Watford v Leicester Playoff Final 2013 Both teams gave it all, great ending. Croatia v England 2004 6 goals and a performance from England and Rooney that made me believe.

Delphs talent lies in his feet and the way in which he creates space and moves the ball. He moves into the little gaps with the ball that you can see when watching but alot harder to see when playing. People expect more of him as thats what top players do then move onto an assist or a goal, but thats what lacks from his game. Maybe with better movement in front of him hed have a lot more room to shoot and play killer passes. Id take Dembele, Townsend and £3million for him but thats a bit optimistic. Off on a free to Liverpool or Spurs, we need him to stay up in my opinion.

From about 2004 to 2010 I think he was World Class. The Champions league final and FA cup final are examples that will be played again and again to back up media arguments and therefore nullify them, but they are great examples of performances that he was giving quite consistently for about 5 years. However never a central midfielder for me, too selfish, needed to be let loose with no particular position, which is why he failed for England and why now he is poor as his legs and positioning cant get him through games.
