  1. I hear the criticism about Spitty Carra and Red Nev but surely to god they're still much better options than most of the others. I put the Real Madrid game on earlier and Steve McManaman was on, Clinton Morrison on Blues game on the weekend, Michael Owen, Owen Hargreaves, Don Goodman, Andy Hinchcliffe. I'm quite happy with JC and GN still at the minute until someone better comes through the ranks. I forget the name of the fella who works in Germany (I think) and runs a podcast (I think) - James someone? (I think?) - He's always been good value for proper punditry.
  2. Same diet here, but still got sense of taste, just living that bachelor life again. Tip - All four items go surprisingly well as a casserole. Just don't go for the Bombay Bad Boy pot noodle.
  3. Has anyone else noticed that nearly everywhere (maybe it is everywhere) you go to eat these days asks or warns about allergies. That was never a thing a few years ago. Brother, I've spent 15 years eating horse and green doner meat when I've been pissed, don't worry about dropping a prawn in my dinner, I think I'll be alright.
  4. To add to that, club loyalty stands for very little as it is anyway when it comes to getting tickets. I think there should at least be a bit more of a nod towards STH, particularly if the prices ramp up again and we lose any more benefits (anyone remember the Holte Suite?)
  5. So someone who's gone home and away for the last 10+ years should be put on the same criteria as someone that's willing to pay for membership for a season? I fit in that category and I'm still not top tier when it comes to away allocation, despite my best efforts to get tickets to every single away game. I'm not sure I'd be happy if I lost all that to a membership scheme.
  6. Thanks for the updates folks, appreciate it
  7. Is that not punishing the people that have had STs for years though?
  8. Oli Emi very close second, and he's won us games by himself this season, but I think Oli has took it to the next level this season.

He's not going on Mastermind lads, he's our right back, I'm fine with him not knowing what a Zombie Apocalypse is or where some stadiums are on a map. I don't want him turning up to training studying a map of the UK, thanks.
  10. I used to think he was massively overrated. Then I saw him play at Stamford Bridge in the cup game - I genuinely think it was one of the best individual performances I've seen this season. So if he's like THAT Palmer, sign him up.
  11. I haven't really followed the loans that closely - how would we rate this seasons loan success? Any players looking like potential stars? Any of the old boys looking like they might be moving on? Thank you
  12. Excellent reference. But also if there was a place where people would torture monkeys other than Stelling Land, it's **** Kiddy. Royston Vasey in real life.
  13. That's a hungover coach journey I'm avoiding at all costs.
  14. I might be wrong, I don't know the exact numbers, but hasn't he always dropped off in the second half of the season? Whether through injuries, form, fitness? I don't really rate him anyway, but there's not a day in a million years where he's worth £90m
  15. Whilst I don't disagree with anything you've said, he's also an absolute spunker.
  16. If the away fixture is during the week I'm gonna kick off at that bloody fixtures computer. Smash it to pieces.
  17. Clinton Morrison was co-comms on the Blues game the other day. Good god, the man is a sausage at the best of times, but that was awful. No research, no data, all anecdotal stories about how he used to play. The worst.
  18. Crikey, this was some opening post.
  19. Focus on what demotivates you on sticking to your routine, not what motivates you. Motivation comes and goes, if you can stop the demotivating behaviours, you're winning again. Too early in the day? Too difficult to cook healthy meals? Too fond of a beer? It's all things you can control and change.
  20. It certainly helped that Brighton didn't press him that much compared to other teams, that's always been his weakness IMO - be chased down. Fair play though, was unlucky to not at least come away with a draw.
  21. Never tried Huel but I can highly recommend ESN Protein and all their stuff, the shakes, the puddings, the protein chocolates, absolutely superb stuff. https://uk.esn.com/collections/proteine
  22. The Theatre episode was, and still is, absolute gold.
  23. I did not know that. What a bunch of snide weasels.
