  1. Let's be fair, there's many other stadiums around the country that would beg for the North Stand, maybe not the hospitality side, but the match side? Yes and yes again.
  2. I think he'll become a player one day, the flashes of magic when he's been with us, absolutely superb. Situation didn't fit with his career, and I've nothing against him joining another club in Europe and ripping it up.
  3. Whilst I wouldn't have Poch, I think he's turning them into a top 4 contender, their form recently has been superb, they do have some great talent in the team (not Gallagher, mot overrated player I've ever seen) but I'd be amazed if they aren't sniffing around CL spots next season.
  4. No idea about the show, but (and I'm not QJ biggest fan) - that is a BANGER
  5. Dipped back into the This Is England series - It's the most comforting, uncomfortable show I've ever seen. Love it, but **** me, it's dark at times.
  6. Don't like VAR at all, but contentious decisions, penalties etc, if done properly, I'll support it. The offside shit, **** that, that's what kills the game.
  7. Every single appearance he looked like he'd won a charity raffle to play for Villa. Never fit, pathetic attitude, played the game like he was wearing sandals. Go show us up at another club pal - Oh shit you ain't get that talent. Mor-GONE Sans-GONE
  8. Here's you lot faffing about with seating arrangements, transport links and hospitality..... @Enda out here looking for the real answers. Be ashamed lads. Statue for @Enda please.
  9. Yes, yes and yes. There's no argument of his talent, ability, skills, stats. He does waste opportunities, there's been games where I wouldn't trust him to walk to the centre circle without falling over. And the bit in bold, again and again and again.
  10. FYI - More comfortable in the wheelie bin than the mattress. And smelt better too.
  11. Having been on the wrong side of the legal system, I can personally say, and not from an aggrieved position, that any kind of Police involvement, whether completely innocent or absolutely guilty sticks around, not just the stigma, but also professionally, personally, emotionally. Innocent until proven guilty is fine, if you're in a position where you have 3/4/5 people accusing you of something, that the Police have reviewed three times and decided there's nothing, absolutely nothing there, but you're STILL in a position where it's stopping you in your every day life, particularly with your livelihood. that's not cool. I'm no fan of the Tories, I fully believe there's a lot of murky shit that's gone on - with ALL parties - but you can't be stopping people working because someone has ACCUSED you of ill behaviour. Suspend someone, investigate, and then decide.

Correct answer and absolutely no comeback. I agree with Rds1983. Also, you might get some homemade snatch in the gallery if you're lucky.
  13. It's PG or nothing for me - I didn't realise they'd changed it though, it still tastes the same to me. Yorkshire Tea always has a slight tinny taste. Typhoo and Tetley you only choose to drink if you're on a register.
  14. And also, I think Big John needs to stop smelling the sniffing salts.
  15. That John Fury thing - I dunno who's ever dropped a head or received one, I'm very sceptical, no bruising, your forehead doesn't split like that from a nut. I'm guessing he's cut himself there, none of it makes sense.
  16. I know we've had some characters in our time, but SJM comes across as THE player you want in the squad with you. Everything about him as a player and a personality just oozes class.
  17. I see this being said a lot - he's also the reason he has to work his ass off in a lot of games, giving away the ball so easy, going down and staying down when a free kick was never on the cards. He's obviously a talent, but he's so hot and cold. Hopefully next season he's back at his best.
  18. I'd argue he was involved, but he was quite poor. I said only a few days ago, I think he's had his head turned, because he's really dropped off recently, and not just since Kamara got injured. It's frustrating because he's much better than his recent performances suggest.
  19. Crikey, some of the shit we've had to suffer at this club over recent years and we're all gunning for Diego? Not sure he's in the same category as some of the other spunkers we've had lads. Maybe not a club legend, but he's hardly dogshit.
  20. Said exactly the same to my mate earlier. At what point did Gakpo not being offside when Gomez was played the ball become a thing? If you're halfway up the pitch, the wide player picks the ball up (onside) and then plays the ball into the forward (who was offside at the time of the first pass), surely that's offside? Else, you could have forwards hanging around offside all game but it's okay as long as they're behind the ball when it's played to them? Not sure if I'm being dumb?
  21. Finally getting Villa into Champions League - albeit in a slightly different route we all thought, but there you go.
  22. Get's my hipster vote, not gonna lie.
