Does anybody else use lines from films or tv shows when they talk in everyday life? Not just random lines it's got to fit the message you're trying to relay, but you say the exact line in the voice or accent from the film.

To be fair, other than Ashley Young who was free, I dont think weve signed any player who was 30 or over in recent years. Possibly Heaton a few years ago if that was for a fee but a keeper also? Maybe we do need more players who have been there and done it. Or atleast we need a combination of youth and experience in transfers.

Mings is clearly first to that ball if he stays on his feet.

It's an instance of Saka absolutely bossing us from minute one and Mings losing his cool. If Mings stays on his feet he takes that ball away and beyond Saka. Mings created a challenge and a problem out of nothing. I'll defend him for a lot if things, and I think he gets a real unnecessary bad deal from the media and fans. But if an opposition player is dominating us Mings becomes more erratic in his challenges/discipline, its happened loads.

The problem again for me is the indiscipline. Mings didnt need to do that, he was in possession of the ball. It wasnt even a 50 50, he had the ball and chose to slide through Saka. And then McGinn comes flying in. And so both will probably be suspended at some point. I dont mind our players picking up bookings for fouls. It's the unnecessary ones that annoy me, like Konsa v Leeds. Maybe all teams do it though.

The good thing now is that we have genuine competition for places across the team. In past seasons the eleven generally picked itself irrespective of player form.

How does it work for the championship or league 1 teams these lads are at when they're on international duty. Are they just a player down for league games or do they have their fixture postponed?

Haha, had to double glance. I thought Teddy Sheringham was in goal for a minute. That's great though, would be great to see them all starting together.

It feels like we are missing a top top premier league superstar right now, which seems crazy when we have Coutinho, but A) he isnt ours and B hes valued at a similar level to our other better players, approx £30-35 mil. We have a group of 10 to 15 players who are valued somewhere between the £20 - 30mil mark. Maybe EMI might be more up towards 50, but as an average in that region. We dont have that star £100mil players anymore. In my mind, Grealish in this squad adds another 10 points minimum, and puts us right up there with the European teams. Likes of Spurs and West Ham have Kane and Rice, and I think that drags the performance of the whole team higher, as Grealish did with us. Will be an interesting window, but would be difficult to get a top top premier league player here presumably given our lack of European football and likely wage restrictions. I just think we are that one player away from being in the mix.

I cant work out what's going on here, are the spurs and liverpool games scheduled for Saturday 5.30pms in April but both could still be moved?

I really do think that the Man U squad is a bad group of players. Just listening to Scholes there post match, saying there a top top team of players. Theres good individuals but it's a horrible squad. Watching Ronaldo, Matic, Mata and Cavani trying to get around the pitch like they use to is painful.

Why cant Man City ever be this bad against us.
