Well this is it. He was on the bench tonight, and looking at their last ten or so games, their current number one doesn't concede too many goals. Will be a weird choice of club to go to if he doesnt play.

I'm guessing that Steer wants to play football again. Wouldnt be much chance being a third choice behind Martinez and Olsen. He's 29 now.

I mean this is the only angle I see why we would be loaning him out. He did a couple of interviews last season about wanting to be in the England reckoning, with his then form. Completely understandable if he wants to play in the premier league.

It is annoying, particularly on loan. They go from having a bottom 3 left back to a mid table left back. And no permanent cost to them. It's like this window theyve built a mid table eleven, which will be enough to keep then up.

They absolutely dont win the league in 3 seasons, in my opinion. They need about a billion pounds worth of players as a squad to gel and challenge likes of Man City across a season. Not to say they wont challenge with time but not quickly.

He seems to be a player in the right place at the right time. A bit like how Sterling suddenly gets possession in the area.

I really dont think he has good end product, and that would be the reason we sell if he were to leave. I like him, I love his energy, but like Targett, the club may have a plan to replace him. Digne has something like 25 premier league goal involvements in 125 games. Cash has about 3 in 50 games.

This is the thing with ffp presumably. If we can double or triple the price we paid for a player when selling it better allows us to invest again. This is tough in my mind though because I really like him but I am critical of his final ball. That's a lot of money for Cash.

We now have a starting eleven that is filled with really competent premier league players. The next task is to have the bench at a not too different standard to.the firs team. If Digne gets a knock we now have Targett, if Konsa is out we now have Chambers etc. Its looking much stronger collectively now after this window.

Has he, fair play. It does feel like we have a real handle on each clubs players situation. Again with Arsenal it's like Martinez, exploiting that situation, and also with Smith Rowe. Its fantastic.

Exactly this. Over the previous two seasons since we came back up to the PL, Neil Taylor and Elmohamady probably played about 60 games combined. We need the cover at full back to be of a high standard going forward, which Targett provides. If he wants to leave and be first choice elsewhere then that's different and up to him, but we shouldn't be actively looking to move him on.

Exactly my thoughts on it. I also dont want an ageing footballer like Suarez to be kicking his first ball for us in 8 months time, but I guess that's the option we have.

I obviously dont mind the traditional songs that have been around for decades like My old man, SOTC etc. But Coutinho is the new hero to a load of the kids in the ground. Would be good for them to be able to sing his song. I really like that tune for his song though, could play it before games.

Very good, dynamic performance.

Ye I felt that we missed him especially first half. He unsettles the other team in the way he plays. United had it too easy for a lot of the first half.
