  1. They're not difficult games let alone really really difficult. Those three teams average about 10th in the league, none have won their last game. None have anything to play far. We won two out of the three equivalent games earlier in the season. It's hardly a run of Arsenal at home, Man City at home and Arsenal away is it. Then I'd completely agree with you. We wouldn't get any points from those.
  2. It's interesting the bookies have us as odds on to win the second leg, and basically second favourites to win the competition behind Fiorentina.
  3. I mean we can definitely win 4-2 too. As you say, we just won at Arsenal 2-0, 3 nil not beyond us.
  4. Yes that was it for me. Mostly bad luck. In the same way we could have lost 4-2 to Chelsea on Saturday, we could have won that 4-2 last night.
  5. Can someone help me with amounts of injury time. It literally feels like you can roll a dice to come up with the amount of minutes. Why was there 3 at the end of that first half? In the premier league it would have been 6 or 7. Equally the second half in the premier league is 8 or 9. Is there a different criteria for injury time in Europe?
  6. That drove me mad. You've got to be smarter than that. Whether it came off their player or not be intelligent enough to realise that it likely wont be spotted and try and clear it. Didn't realise until now he was also the reason our first goal was disallowed for shoving one of their players in the build up.
  7. Why was the Bailey goal at the start disallowed? Doesn't look like anyone appealed for anything. All the players just look confused.
  8. Robin Olsen a £1-2million keeper. I'm honestly not sure what people expect. As if it's somehow his fault.
  9. Do you say he'll miss every time he does that run up?
  10. It's like the moron a few rows behind me who screams that we should resign Bertrand traore as soon as we misplace a pass.
  11. Well if you want one example of that not being the case then you can have mine. Me and my son have a season ticket. My youngest son is on the waiting list at about 17,000 and has barely moved for three seasons. I would get him one if offered for next season next to us. He can't attend games with us as the seats next to us are season tickets too. This must be a similar case for many.
  12. I think a huge chunk of the waiting list are family members or friends of existing season ticket holders. It's not like it's new fans who might need convincing. There's a huge backlog of fans who would have naturally become season ticket holders irrespective or what league or how well we are doing.
  13. I think we would. As long as we are around the top 6 in the prem. We would definitely have a further 15k season ticket holders of that 30k waiting list who would take up the offer, in my opinion.
  14. Personally I don't like how bad it is for the fans at the game. I'm not attending a game to find out whether Diego Carlos pushed someone or not, of which there isn't a right or wrong answer anyway. The guy watching it on pitch head on in real time has an opinion that it isn't a foul. I dont even think we were told why it was being checked at the ground. I'm far more there to celebrate late winners in the moment, or concede late winners in the moment, based on the referees initial decision. If you're a Chelsea fan coming from London and paying £100-150 to be there, or a Lille fan spending £400 to be there, do you honestly want these goals youve scored being checked and reversed minutes after they've gone in.
  15. Yes please. Can't stand it. As long as the refs aren't biased to certain clubs then I'd take the rough with the smooth of some decisions being right some wrong. The same way that football was for the previous 145 years.
  16. On goal difference, if we finished on same points and goal difference as Tottenham does it then go down to goals scored? We've effectively got an additional point providing we don't have a bad end to the season, with our goal difference.

    Chelsea

The schedule. I don't think they'd cope well with an additional 17 games in Europe. I think we probably want the likes of Tottenham, Man U, Chelsea, Newcastle etc to play a lot of europa and conference league football.

    Chelsea

Would be good for us if they got conference league.
  19. But what you're effectively saying therefore is that we should be the best team in the league by quite a distance. It would be a bit odd if we turned up at Arsenal away and also Brentford at home, Chelsea at home etc. We'd have cruised the league if we did that all season. It's really difficult to get everything right every game.
  20. But you don't risk a season on managing a defeat in which you rest players. They'll play a full team.
  21. From this point on, it's better for us if they have a really decent end to the season and so he keeps his job.
  22. But Norwich couldn't risk fielding a youth team and let blues win as it would only take a 4 or 5 nil Hull win to make it tight.
  23. That's such a mess isn't it if that's the case. The grounds half empty at about 89th minute on night games so not much point.
