  1. This. Or home to a newly promoted team for that matter. I think it will be WBA. Oh wait... Ok Newcastle home it is.
  2. To be fair, if he's held back due to his injury... well it's hard to bash Safegate for that. But who the hell knows except Jack.
  3. Blandy's gone from talking up Nuno's football to defending Safegate on Grealish. Think it's time to call the doctors.
  4. Can anyone explain to me in the simplest terms why there seems to be a LOT more side effects to AZ than mRNA vaccines? I'm saying 'seems' cause these are not exactly official statistics. I remember taking the yellow fever vaccine and I feeling completely shit, and that was completely normal. Yet the mRNA vaccines seems to have most people feel just fine, except a bruised deltoid. How come mRNA can be so effective, yet cause so little side effects? Can't get my head around it.
  5. No because I have experience of French people and English.
  6. Well I didn't see that did I, or I wouldn't have written it? You're no Sherlock mate.
  7. Socks are actually very underrated. Readily available. Good spesific surface area due to the way cotton is weaved. Good stretch give good grip. Recc. those with bamboo. No chance of that brown finger. Large wipe area. Easily turned and stored/thrown. And you will survive without them. They have saved many no TP panic struck public WC brothers.
  8. He really isn't. Unless your definition is extremely relative.
  9. I actually have a feeling we've managed this one correctly and he'll be a real asset next season. But we'll see. I hope the club have adressed the language difficulties though. I guess the only French talking player we've got is Traore and maybe AEG? The French aren't exactly renown for speaking English.
  10. Not watching, but I assume his finishing is as bad it's been for Real S. He's always needed a fuckton of chances to convert. Decent all round striker though.
  11. Yes. Grealish is superb at LW and Zaha is a penis.
  12. Surely Bertrand is miles better cover than Taylor?
  13. Bertrand as a squad filler is surely good enough?
  14. Really? I'm no expert, but he always is pretty defensive and cynical minded isn't he? Not exactly sexyball is it? I've gotten kind of Mourinho vibes off him.
  15. Thought first he said tit measurer, but I caught on in the end
  16. Suspect you might be right, as AEG seems to do better on the left, but I think Grealish wide left, Buendia centre and Traore right is arguably just as attractive option. Though ideally we'd play that and replace Traore with a better, more direct, hard working winger whom actually can go outside.
  17. Is there a grammatical nuance I'm not getting here? Don't you win tournaments by winning games?
  18. Yep definitely. But you do that by picking your best performing players. Or in form players. Tactics is obviously a thing, but you have enough players to pick from whatever tactic you choose. Looking at your tactic against Croatia for instance, Watkins would have made way more sense than Kane ever did. But Southgate does what Southgate does. I also don't think Southgate got it right. I think you looked pretty fortunate to win that match. It had draw all over it. You hardly created and it took a deflected shot to get a 1 goal win. I think with the attacking talent in that England squad and what some even call the Golden Generation, I think is pretty weak. Croatia isn't what they once were either. They are an aging squad with some of the biggest names IIRC. I'd say anyone thinking Southgate got it right because you scraped a 1-0 win is papering some pretty big managerial cracks.
  19. The Premier League is obviously a money pot for them, but I think Brentford will struggle to keep doing what they've been doing. The reason they've been able to buy the players they've bought, and be patient with them until they found their feet so to speak, is because whenever they'd struggle with a new signing and give him time to get it right, they'd just lose a few matches and venture midtable. They've had a great system and found lots of good players, but they have also been able to develop players cause they were very settled in their comfort zone. Any player would ultimately find his feet and they'd start doing better and move up the table. But you can't do that in the PL. Say Toney is sold this summer, even if I can't see it happening. Do you really think their new striker, whoever that may be, will get the time to get it right when you're thrown right into the PL? No. They'd get relegated by that, on PL wages. Secondly whoever they then will want to sign will know Brentford are in the PL money, so any gambles from the French league... take that championship price and multiply it by 10. Now ofc. if their ambition is to be a Norwich type club, well no worries I guess. Nothing wrong with that.
  20. Saw a video of a "doctor/nurse" from Ohio who claimed the vaccine made people magnetized. She then proceeded to sticking stuff to her sticky skin on angles to make her point. That these people steal oxygen I could have used pisses me off.
  21. I know very little about this part of the world I'm embarrassed to say. But as someone that's educated in natural sciences, I've always wanted to go on a motorcycle/car trip through the continent and especially visit the amazon river and the rain forests. But I really don't feel comfortable travelling through countries like Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, Venezuela, Brazil etc. when I don't speak Spanish or Portuguese.
