  1. You touch an interesting matter though when you say 'if you know how to cook'. It's a pretty neglected, old fashioned thing, but it sure is important. You don't have to go too many years back and mothers were at home cooking every dinner, and not working.
  2. We do, but I don't really care what order we sign them in. I'd argue we need a DM, CAM, Striker and CB. Whether we sign a striker before the others is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
  3. This. Rashford, Greenwood, Martial, Cavani Abraham, Werner, Giroud, Odoi I cba looking through the rest of the teams, but I'm pretty confident they have options as forwards. We don't. Sell Wesley and buy a wide forward.
  4. It really wouldn't. Been there, done that.
  5. It's a poverty/education issue all over the world, but it definitely isn't that in Norway. I just can't agree with that. People are mostly obese here cause for a whole bunch of other reasons. IMO. I'd even bet you'd find a higher BMI amongst the middle class group living in the country side than any other class or group here. There's a small group of poor people here and that group is rising, but relatively speaking I'm not sure it is. Personally I don't know anyone that fall into that group, even if I know people who are poor. I think saying it's a becoming as issue here is sort of mocking the real world issue. The statistics show that around 10% of the children are in households defined as poor, and 60% of those are immigrant families. Since 2006 children in Norway has increased by 2,7% while the children in the low income families have increased by 71%. How this related to immigration I'm not sure, but it's a very relevant question. Low income families is defined by 60% or less of the median income. The median income is roughly £ 4400, thus these kids and families operated on £ 2600 or less per month and are defined as poor. AFAIK, Somalia is the country that's dominating the stats on this. It's also worth considering they aren't in reality operating on £ 2600 month as they tend to get a LOT of extra benefits. I don't have children so I'm unsure on this, but I think they get around £ 150,- per child, and these families normally have a lot of children. The women in the family often don't work either, and that's another benefit they are awarded which isn't included in the income numbers afaik. So while this is a very complicated debate, I think on the whole there's no chance you have this issue in Norway in any way that's comperable to the rest of the world. Secondly, I'd argue you can make a healthy dinner cheaper than a frozen pizza here. A frozen pizza most people buy, is around £ 6-10 I think. You can buy eggs, peas, rice, bread, pasta, vegetables and what not for the same money.
  6. This is so confusing to me. I know it's a thing in the US, where something as simple as root vegetables can be very expensive. I haven’t actually ever checked the prices, but I'm fairly certain eating healthy is much cheaper here than the alternative. Then again we've almost always been a poor farming country, whether it's fish or land based.
  7. Maybe I'm alone in this, but I can't see it happening. Sure we'll find out soon enough though.
  8. Even if you do home cooking it's pit falls, at lesst for me. It's probably different in the UK, US etc. cause the tradition of eating out is much stronger. Here we eat out relatively seldom, thus the portions you get are pretty small. So that limits itself sort of. Cooking at home however I often think it's difficult to not over eat. Simply because we cook too much food.
  9. It's much easier to maintain focus and discipline when you see results isn't it?
  10. Someone care to explain it to me? I'm a bit tired and stressed, but I've read it 25 times and I still don't 'see it'.
  11. Scooter played on the radio, and I think of this Rashica thread. Think you officially broke my mind.
  12. I think this is wrong tbh. I have no proof to point to corruption, but that's not my point either. Generally speaking the established CL clubs will have more media attention and noise around refereeing than the other clubs. Referees WILL get affected by that. It's not that they do it on purpose, but it's just human. You can't not be affected by that media train every day. So the next time you make a decision with 182 BPM, 52 000 fans screaming and 22 whining bastards in your face, you will on pure reflex weigh up your rational thoughts with your instinctive follow the masses and play it safe thoughts.
  13. Haven't really watched the Euro, so you might be right. But I've had this discussion before and I just want to point out a few things. Firstly, the PL is generally played at a much higher tempo than any tournaments are. Thus refereeing is much harder. Secondly, the use of VAR is better around Europe for sure, but that's not really the referees fault I think. The PL officially have to decide how VAR is supposed to be used. While good and bad refereeing exists, there is a worse kind and that's inconsistent refereeing. Thirdly, what you don't see in the tournaments is the "big club" favourism. You have this in Spain, Italy, Germany or Norway. Every league has it. The amount of dodgy calls I saw Rosenborg get in the domestic league when i grew up. Just like Manchester United in the PL. It's unfortunate, but just because you don't experience it in the international tournaments doesn't mean the refereeing is better.
  14. Completely get where you're coming from. My friends are very techie people, and sometimes I'm so impressed by the most trivial coding and graphic work, they genuinly must think I'm challenged.
  15. Thanks. Having a really shit day in the office where everyone in Europe seems intent of giving me more work before I kick off my holiday tomorrow. But this made me chuckle hard.
  16. Was pretty hilarious when that bloke had a note with 4-5 names we were signing and everyone called bullshit. Until it was clear he was Deano's son's mate or something and we started signing those players one by one. Shit was on another level.
  17. We should never build anything new, cause Villa Park is magic. But fwiw, I'd much prefer a very very nice up to date shed, than playing in a derelict cabbage tent cause fecked finances.
  18. Normally I would never say this, but I think you'll beat Germany this time.
  19. Have there ever been credible reports to suggest otherwise? Genuine question. Regardless of that it's safe to say we have upgraded our transfer list when we went from scraping survival to finishing midtable.
  20. I feel the numbers in Europe in general is pretty daft. Simply because I don't believe them. Some countries are testing more, sequencing more, and report accurate numbers. Norway are operating on reported numbers and reported % of tests that are positive. Based on that we are giving colour codes to countries and whether quarantene is required when returning home. I don't know if this is an EU thing or not. But when I see Albania Croatia, Greece, Italy and other countries dependant on beach tourism are reporting massive decrease in their numbers. RIGHT before summer vacs hits. Hah. I don’t buy it. I know **** all about it all, but I am some what of a realist. Money talks.
  21. Btw. did your arm hurt as much the second time as the first? I felt nowt except my armed felt absolutely pummeled.
  22. Well, guess I better prepare then. Getting my second moderna shot mid July
  23. That's rough. My jaw hurts by reading it. Thank feck I'm not wise
