  1. Maybe other Norwegians will say differently, but I don't feel agility covers it. Isn't agility more a term at how quickly you can move your body, your reactions and physical ability to perform them? I've never really thought of agility when I assess a players jumping ability, but I may be wrong. Feel I broke Chuk's thread though, so ignore this.
  2. We call it spenst. Leap isn't that more a word for jump or the combinations of attributes leads to a great leap? Spring? Dunno, never heard of
  3. Depends what you put into the word physicality. Roughness? Maybe. But when you look at the entire package like acceleration, pace, agility, strength, jumping ability and so on, I think there's a bigger difference than people imagine. The PL is an exceptionally high tempo league. FWIW, what the hell is the English word for bouncing off the ground, or the ability to make a jump? We have this word in Norwegian, which I would say falls into the physical aspects of the game. Like a Ayala and Cannovaro had exceptional heading ability for their height due to their timing and ..... I can't for my life figure out what it is. I would expect you to have such a word considering you have about 10000 more words than us.
  4. Big difference to start out in the championship and the PL tbh.
  5. To be fair, if this is a Lange recommendation or McKenzie or whoever made the call, why should listen to them. It's not that they are utterly amazing or anything, but it's no point having staff for this if we don't follow through on it. Secondly, how can we ever criticise their performance, if we don't back them when they call out the big talents. It goes both ways.
  6. I think we have to consider the fact that Watkins needs more rest though. We didn’t really excel in the cups this year, didn’t have europe and Ollie still played 37 matches. And that's before you consider he may get injured.
  7. Tend to agree, but they also signed Slimani, Musa and Praet for about £70 million. Too early to judge Praet mind. But completely agree, they are very well run in regards to transfers.
  8. Pretty much same here. Think for the longest of times the UK, Norway and a couple more nations were the only ones without armed police. Here they (the police interest organisation) are desperate to implement it, despite it not being wanted in the public. The way around it is that the give dispensation ALL the time and I mean ALL the time, by pretending there's a need for it due to heightened terrorist/security threat.
  9. See to me you should set the standard of people being advised to listen to the police irrespective of carrying guns. I also can't understand how anyone that breaches a building should have the focus on shouting armed police instead of doing what they are there for. It's just weird. Thirdly I don't see how anyone breaching my house shouting armed police will make me think any different than someone shouting police. In fact it would probably make me act stupid in the sense that I would hide from armed police, but ask wth is going on to regular police. And I don't get how it's a legal matter to say armed police either. I don't get what law or rule that comes into play here. I understand you inform people they may encounter people with guns, but at the same time you are giving the very same people information they can benefit from. I dunno, maybe I'm just stupid here, but to me it seems unwise.
  10. Went back for some squatting last night. Managed to get back on sets with 60 kgs. I'm amazed how shite I am at squats. I know I have toothpick legs and have had it despite playing football my entire life. Guess it's sort of genetics. Gonna focus a lot on squats going forward and hoping to break 100 kgs again. But how I can be so SO much worse at squats than deadlift is just baffling. I can't for my life understand it.
  11. A bit of a digression, but is it typical for British/Irish police to say "armed police" if they are armed? Seems just pointless to me, and I don't get why anyone would do it. Might be Norwegian police does it as well, I really wouldn't know, but even then it sounds just daft to me.
  12. I love Mings, but I'd be wary about having him on against Croatia personally. My experience from the Balkans and football is that they are; 1) Very good and very technical. 2) Incredibly cynical and dirty 3) Could piss of a rock by point 2. Mings could easily get a red card there as he's not very good at handling those to try to get a rise from him.
  13. Watched season one of Line of Duty after having seen people praising the series on here. Pretty average imo. It's well made, but incredibly messy storyline. Are the following seasons much better ?
  14. Didn’t harrogate get promoted or something?
  15. Ironically while it's a great watch, I don't think it suits the occation. I'd much prefer him to wear a cronograph at that time, or at least that's what I'd do.
  16. Well at least it's a good thing if this link has some truth to it, cause it means Deano has registered that our central midfield needs work. Which was pretty obvious to most of us last season. I'd prefer a more defensive player to be perfectly honest, and also a bigger player, but we'll see what we end up with.
  17. I think for the first time I will watch all the England matches as a priority. It's pretty clear he is now one of the biggest names in football. At AVFC bringing the club up from the championship 2 years ago. Remarkable. Tbh, I almost feel he is one of those people who revels in being different, aka not following, but taking the lead. Who knows what the future will bring, but I hope he stays forever. Play to you're 35 here. Be Birmingham's Totti. Win us trophies and get a stand named after yourself.
  18. Feel free to not say, but what company? TEVA?
  19. It's generally how a select few on this forum operate. I think I've spent more time on this forum telling people what I haven't said than actually defending a point I have made. Guess slumming it with people who develop their critical thinking at Twitter instead of universities leads you to this.
  20. Was just going to say that. And based on that you know this transfer is something Deano is hard for.
  21. It's pretty much the only position we already got quality in depth.
  22. Lets be fair. What Arse fans are saying is irrelevant. The fact they are still talking about it shows how rattled they are. It's funny.
