  1. The sound of those clappers always come across as pathetic on TV. The roar of the crowd is infinitely better.
  2. We’re due to win a game we don’t deserve to. Doesn’t make sense as to why this would be it but who knows. Norwich beat them.
  3. At least we’ll get his annual April goal
  4. Made a difference on Wednesday night though
  5. Crowd (& possibly players) are shellshocked.
  6. Felt for Martin after making that mistake but I bet their fans are a lot happier, having a more experience and capable back up.
  7. Doesn't look like it. Repped France at U/18/19/20/21 level a combined 44 times.
  8. According to The Athletic, 7 Championship clubs charging away fans more for a ticket than the capped Premier League price. https://theathletic.com/1515424/2020/01/09/championship-clubs-away-ticket-prices/?source=dailyemail
  9. Would help us out massively if they took one of the relegation spots on offer.
  10. You tell it's a Villa Forum because every review of this film mentions the Villa shirt .
  11. Imagine if @sir_gary_cahill turned out to be a troll playing a really, really, really, really long game .
  12. I wonder if that Konsa header that crashed off the bar will cost us? Stoked with the result despite the sloppy goal we conceded. Good job lads!
  13. I see in the latest FourFourTwo (I’m 3 weeks late because I’m far O/S), their annual awards issue, Wesley got named “Inspiration of the Year”. Looking forward to reading the 4 page interview with him.
  14. We're light in midfield with McGinn out and Jack playing wide left so he has an opportunity to come in and win a spot in our midfield. Hopefully he can get his career back on track for his sake and ours.

    Louie Barry

Sounds like a massive coup if we can pull this off. The lack of youth coming through the system has been a massive issue since Lerner started his cutbacks and I'm glad the new regime has recognised this and is starting to address it. As for Louie, just because we have pressing short term needs, doesn't mean we should ignore the long term future. Sounds like a very exciting prospect indeed. Yes, but the initial fee is 700k rising to £3m after add-ons. If the fee reaches that amount then surely it means Louie has made X amount of senior appearances or scored X amount of goals or has represented England at U/21 level or similar, in which case surely Louie has started to make it as a senior player thus justifying the increased fee.
  16. In doing research for the Loan Report I found an article stating Villa are looking to recall Hogan and loan him to another Championship club (like Andre Green) and the majority of Stoke fans seemed to be disappointed by this news...
  17. The draw for the 4th round has just made me even happier we didn't get through (yes, I know our ball number would have been different to Fulham's but still...). League Cup SF & the Premier League is enough for us to concentrate on in our current state.
  18. Happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think we'll manage to be undefeated in our last 8 fixtures like you have us. If anything this has made me more pessimistic.
  19. Over the holidays finally got to put some time into Pokemon Let's Go. Got all the badges and beat the Elite 4. Now only 3 Pokemon away from getting the original 150 in the Pokedex and them I'll move on. I must admit I did find it extremely easy, pretty sure I didn't not blackout once in battle. Would have enjoyed a bit more of a challenge, but overall thought it was a nice update of a classic. What should I move onto next, Links Awakening or Super Mario Odyssey?
