  1. This all over, Smith was willing to trust others judgement over his own, sometimes it works and it did with Cutler who's obviously extremely talented when it comes to keepers.

Hopefully Emi's success will get Cutler some heat , maybe an interview or two that leads somewhere for him. Southgate could be looking for a keeping coach....
  3. Heaton was a good signing at the time , great keeper. His injury and Emi's form when he signed just meant he had to go .
  4. Prey, was my favourite, surprisingly good considering the previous follow ups to predator. Western Front was none stop action , couldn't look away from it for a second but it was also a depressing reminder of war, from it's glorious beginnings to it's dreadful reality. Enjoyed Monroe as well, brutal but I suspect fairly accurate as to the sort of abuse actresses had to endure to become stars. Belfast was ok, Banshees of Inisherin was a bit of wierd one, worth watching though.

He must be very proud of that performance, helped Emi develop into a world cup winning player, well done Cut.
  6. The save be pulled of in extra time was amazing, to then save the 2nd penalty was unbelievable, Emi has won that game for em, he was the difference in the end.
  7. He was a shit ref for both of em
  8. Finished the bear last night, very good. Some great acting in it, characters are very interesting. Hopefully it will get a second season.
  9. Jesus another penalty, not given this time though
  10. For been on the pitch, there was no contact until the Argie was on the floor, how many soft penalties have they had in this world cup?
  11. Oh..........must have been a foul then.
  12. Trip, there wasn't any contact apart from the Argentinian player flicking his foot towards the French players foot, ridiculous decision, seen them given but in a world cup final.....
  13. I think this is closer to Smith's problems, O Kelly was obviously a big factor for Smith , despite Shakespeare having a higher profile..
  14. Jesus what a mess, never a penalty first half and VAR just sat by and watched. Game over , shit world cup.
  15. I don't see any 'brains' in the operation, I haven't seen anything to suggest the management can change a game with substitutions or have any more than a couple of systems they can utilize from the off. Gallagher will get the nod over any other possible midfield options as hes a Chelsea player and Holland's biased towards Chelsea players, hence Mount.
  16. Ok......... hopefully Steve Holland will go and someone will come in and help Southgate out a bit.
  17. They do need us, they can't abandon the premier league yet until they have built another competition that rivals it. That would take transitional seasons when the big clubs compete in the premier league and a super league, once that's an established commercial equivalent to the premier league they will abandon the premier league and sail off over the horizon along with Barcelona, PSG , Milan and the others who have deystroyed their own leagues by being greedy. It's better we , the PL, fight this from the off. Even the big 6 fans are against it, it's our only opportunity to fight it and letting it in through the back door , FIFA, is a mistake all of football (fans) will regret.
  18. We don't have to have either a superleague or world cup club competition from a PL point of view we can carry as we are. We have the teams any super league or world league needs and they ain't Everton , Southampton or villa. As for FIFA, no.
