  1. Poor performance from both teams tbh, thought they looked jaded and so did we. Olsen was ok, which was a surprise . Liverpool have no chance of top 4 imho.
  2. Can't believe the old dinosaur is still on TV, all these retirement age presenters clogging up the TV is ridiculous. Do us all a favour a retire to Torquay or some other go to die Town.
  3. Anyone would think it was just a game

There's a setting on my boiler for this , Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000, wondered if it required am external temperature probe but left it off. I'm no expert with boilers , my background is industrial chemical process controls.

It's probably down to my poor explanation, we're sort of saying the same thing. The burner will turn off (the gas) once the water temp gets to 55 or 60 if the flow temp is set to that temp, even if the room thermostat is set higher the boiler will not heat the water any more than what it's set to. If the return water is less than 55 or 60 then it will kick back in. ( It's not exactly 55/60 as the boiler would cycle on and off too quickly) not sure what the buffer would be as it's decided by an algorithm in the closed loop control system.

I can see his point , hence me raising the temp. A condensing boiler runs better with a low return temp so the lower you can get the flow temp the more efficient it becomes, unless is can't raise the temp of the house to level you require in a decent time. Incidentally once the flow temp gets to 55, 60 or whatever you set it to the boiler heat exchanger stops and just the pump runs, so it's not using that much gas, just electricity to run the pump but obviously it runs the pump until the room stat hits it target.

Adjusting my central heating flow temperatures, went down to 55 degrees but it was too low and struggled to raise the temp of the house to 19 degree so raised it to 60 degrees, seems better now but it's a bit warmer outside so it maybe related to that. My gas usage is less than half it was last year, after a boiler change in the spring. Last year's usage would have been at least £500 a month in winter, that's a 3 bed semi , 1930's .
  8. I can understand the ref calling it wrong , crowds and all the in-game pressure but for someone to look at it on TV and draw the conclusion that Doug should have had a red and then the ref to go over and check it again and still decide to send him off, ridiculous decision, incompetence at a level that only the Tories seemed capable of .
  9. Im still mystified at what happened with Doug, there was clearly no contact yet he went, unbelievable decision and we still haven't heard an explanation as to why it happened.
  10. Some would say........a right load of old shite, it's not just about the football, he's the most popular goalkeeper in world football, the second hottest property, the reason Argentina won the world cup , his value is far higher than a few missed kicks. He stays unless transfer records are shattered. He's shagged the hand of gold.
  11. Most important save ever? Hard to argue against it. Without it they would have lost the world cup. So glad he's our player. Nice bit of praise for him on Ben Fosters YouTube channel, wins his shit-houserie of the world cup award in a good way. https://youtu.be/P9pYNIvSFXU
  12. SAS Rogue Heroes, The Bear and BCS all good but the winner is Andor, just fantastic TV.
  13. This is exactly what's happening, good professionals are leaving the NHS and it's not seen as good industry to train for. Why they stopped the NI raise to fund it is beyond me , why didn't they/ don't they carry on with it. To streamline it all, reform one hospital and study its departments who does what and when, once it's reasonably efficient then roll it out to the others one by one, use it as a training school for the others to follow their example. The danger is that the Tories are using the small parts of the NHS that are underperforming to hide the huge problems of their underfunding. It's become their go to tactic, gas light the area of perceived weakness and bring it up when their called out on their gross incompetence.
  14. Fingers crossed for you, sad to see someone who obviously gave so much to helping people be in his situation.
  15. Just started "Somewhere Boy" channel 4 , 2 episodes in, interesting story so far...... put my phone down for an hour.
  16. I'm seeing the let's go private argument rearing it's ugly head as well, "couldn't be any worse" type bollox. Today on the "Mrs Spacebook account" ......."I have had enough of this strike, I'm going to see about going private " Lets look at the American system ... https://www.thebalancemoney.com/medical-bankruptcy-statistics-4154729
  17. It's the governments responsibility to make sure the NHS is running correctly and they have had 12 years to do it and all they have done is make a mess. £10bn on PPE that's useless and benefitted no one but a few lucky companies that appear to be backed by their own MP's ( not to mention the £37bn spent on track and trace) Yet they manage to point to the finger at 'the managers', its laughable and depressing in equal measures that people seem to be following their cloak and mirror propaganda crap while their robbing us all through the back door. Add to that their experimental micro budget that nearly deystroyed any decent pensions people have ( it's still not over) and also managed to raise the cost of government borrowing by an unmeasurable amount for the next few years. Just see Rees Mogg on TV with clippings from the sun to justify his arguments against the nurses having a pay rise, he actually took them out of his pocket, unbelievable. Compare Zelenskyy to this shower of shite we have in control, embarrassing.
  18. Every organisation needs reform, the lack of nurses and doctors is costing millions of pounds , private companies are subbing them in at rates of £1000's per shift. The NHS is under attack and if it goes the cost of private health care will be devastating to the UK standards of living, The Tories are pulling it apart just like they did with the EU and Brexit.
  19. Buy her some slippers for Xmas, two birds one stone.
  20. It's not the political system that's the problem is the politicians, greedy, selfish and in it for all the wrong reasons.
  21. I'm not so sure, in the Diana interview she mentioned jealousy of the attention she was getting in Australia from the poeple , the jealousy was from Charles, she mentioned she was helpless as she didn't want the attention but it didn't change the way Charles treated her. Camilla, she had an Xmas dinner with Piers Morgan and Clarkson days before this latest Clarkson attack was aired, the whole thing is a mess but there is always one person in the mix , Charles.
  22. I'm with you on this, and by the Royal family all fingers point toward Charles for me, with similar things happening to Diana in the past and now this there's only one constant in it all and that's him.
